Randhir Kapoor, along with Babita, was seen at the residence of Boney Kapoor. They came to pay their respect to the late Nirmal Kapoor.

Late, Nirmal Kapoor's Sons, Sanjay, Boney Come To Drop Randhir, Babita As They Came To Offer Respect

Bollywood stars Anil, Sanjay, film producer Boney Kapoor and Reena Kapoor's mom, Nirmal Kapoor, took her last breath on May 2, 2025. Reena, who was 90, passed away due to age-related issues at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. She passed away at 5.25 pm, and her entire family, including her children, their wives, her grandchildren and people from the film fraternity, came to pay their last respects. Now, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karisma Kapoor's dad, Randhir, along with their mom, Babita, was seen at Nirmal's residence after the final rites of Nirmal were carried.

For the unversed, the last rites of Nirmal took place on May 3, 2025, at 11.30 am at Vile Parle crematorium. The entire Kapoor family, including Anil Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Shanaya Kapoor and others, were there to pay their last respects. Babita and Randhir were seen at Nirmal's residence, and they seemed to be staying late. A while back, Babita was seen exiting Nirmal's residence, and both Boney and Sanjay came to leave her. Kareena's mom, Babita, wore a simple white kurta; while she exchanged a few words with Boney, he kissed her on the cheeks. Sanjay, Boney's brother, was then seen holding Babita's hand and leaving her at her car. She was also seen holding the hand of her caretaker, and Sanjay, as an obedient person, like a mark of respect, made Babita sit in the car.

Another video went viral where Randhir was seen walking with a stick with his caretaker, while Sanjay had opened the car door for him as a mark of respect. The veteran actor wore a crisp white shirt and blue denim, and Randhir and Babita were seen separately entering the car. Many more stars attended the last rites of Nirmal. A lot of pictures and videos showing the Kapoor family's emotional moments went viral on social media. Nirmal's mortal remains were taken in an ambulance which was decorated with varied garlands and flowers.

When Randhir Kapoor revealed why Babita never filed for a divorce

Randhir is a proud father of Karisma and Kareena, and earlier was married to Babita. It was in 1988 when they separated. Although, they never got separated, according to a DNA report, and just maintained a cordial bond with one another. Babita is seen at all the Kapoor functions and never fails to make her mark. Earlier, in an interview with the Hindustan Times, Randhir spoke about his and Babita's separation. In his words:

"She’s a crucial part of my life. She has given me two lovely kids. We are all grown-up people, and we preferred to stay separately, [but] we are not enemies."

She has left behind all her family members grieving, as Nirmal was the matriarch of the Kapoor home.
