Rani Mukerji Recalls Her Daughter, Adira's First Visit To Durga Puja Pandal In 2019

Like every year, we spotted Bollywood actress, Rani Mukerji seeking Goddess Durga's blessing at the Durga puja pandal. However, this time, Rani got nostalgic as she reminisced the pre-pandemic celebrations. In a media interaction, the gorgeous actress recalled the time when her daughter, Adira, had first time visited Durga puja celebrations. 

Rani Mukerji loves celebrating the Durga puja with a lot of pomp and grandeur. However, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the celebrations are kept intimate. And Rani, despite her busy schedule she took time out to enjoy the festival with her family.

Recently, in an interview with the Bombay Times, Rani remembered the time when her daughter, Adira had visited the Durga puja pandal for the first time. The actress shared that the best memory from Durga Puja is her daughter attending it in 2019 and enjoying herself.

Rani also revealed that Adira still remembers the taste kadak chai, which she had from a stall. Rani said, "I think my fondest memories would have to be of my daughter Adira attending the Puja in 2019 when she was old enough to enjoy herself and experience everything. Surprisingly, she was only three years old then, and it is amazing that till date, she remembers the kadak chai which she had from one of the stalls at the venue."

Rani further shared the things she loves during the puja, "Over the years, my favourite thing about Durga Puja is getting together with the entire family and all my friends during these five days when we enjoy the food, dressing up and connecting with each other."

Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra had welcomed their daughter, Adira, in 2015, and they have consciously been keeping her away from the media!
