Rani Mukerji is one of the most actresses in Bollywood. Ever since she made her Bollywood debut in 1996 with the film, Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat, there has been no looking back for this stunning actress. Throughout her career, close to two-and-a-half decades, Rani has given some spectacular and out-of-the-box performances.
Talking about her personal life, Rani Mukerji got married to the scion of the YRF banner, Aditya Chopra in 2014. Within a year of their marriage, the duo embraced parenthood with the arrival of their daughter, Adira Chopra.

Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra like to keep their personal life away from the media glares. This is one of the reasons why the couple is rarely spotted together. In a recent conversation with Galatta, Rani spoke about her relationship with Aditya Chopra for the first time. Revealing what attracted her to Aditya Chopra, Rani said:
“I think he’s a really good human being, and to me, that was the clincher. I’ve grown up in a household with my parents, and I’ve valued the kind of people that they were. In my life, it’s very important to have good people around, because I need to respect people. That’s very important to me. What I saw in Adi was a very, very gracious human being, a good person, and a great leader for his team.”

“He’s very fair, not in terms of his colour, but in terms of his morals and his judgment. You might fall out of love, or lose that initial attraction, but you’ll never lose that respect you have for a person. For me, that’s very important. If I want to be close to someone, I need to respect them. I’ve seen the world very closely, I’ve worked in this industry for so many years… So, if it had to be an industry person, it could not be anybody but Adi.”
Coming back to Rani Mukerji and Aditya Chopra's love story, it was after Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge that Aditya Chopra rose to prominence as an independent director. Rani had once encountered Aditya at the Sampan Hotel in Mumbai, but to his surprise, the then-young starlet did not pursue him, vying for a role. Impressed by this and her performance in films she had done before, Aditya recommended Rani to Karan Johar for his film, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
On the work front, Rani Mukerji was last seen in the film, Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway.
