In an interview with Pinkvilla, Rani Mukerji opens up about the pap culture and how she manages the constant media glares. In her words, “I'm Adira's paparazzi, I'm constantly clicking her. I'm with the camera constantly. So, I can't not like the paparazzi because I'm one myself for my daughter. I think it's a very personal decision when parents come and talk about their children. I was very clear, so was Adi, that Adira needs to have a very normal upbringing and that can only happen when the attention is not completely focussed on her and she isn't in the limelight." (Suggested Read: Sania Mirza's Son, Izhaan Welcomes Everyone To His 'Maasi', Anam Mirza's Wedding Celebrations)

Rani Mukerji further added that star kids, being born in families related to the entertainment world automatically become famous, but it does have its pros and cons. However, protecting them is solely their parent’s decision. She further added, “We can't deny that she automatically becomes known because she's born in a family where her parents are known. That becomes an advantage or a disadvantage that goes with it. But still, as much as we can, we try. I hope I try and protect her as much as I can.” Rani also revealed that she is thankful to the media for allowing her to have her own space, by not clicking her daughter at several instances.

Unlike many celebrities who have time and again lost their temper on the media people for constantly following their kid and clicking their pictures, Rani, on the other hand, has a different take on it. She concluded the interview by saying, “At least in my case, the paparazzi has been very very helpful and understanding. Everywhere I go, when I request them, they are super supportive, and they don't take Adira's pictures. I don't think we have such paparazzi anywhere in the world like we do in India. I have been lucky that way."

Rani Mukerji had made her comeback after delivering Adira with the movie, Hichki and was juggling between her shooting schedules and movie promotions. In an interview with the Filmfare during her movie promotions, Rani had revealed how she manages to shoot and spend time with her daughter and had said, “I always take the slot of the afternoon because she sleeps at this time. So, I take the advantage and when she is sleeping, I kind of come, do my work and go back home. When I was shooting for the film also, I used to go early in the morning to shoot and five-six hours of work I used to finish in the morning and go back home before her lunchtime. So, she doesn't miss me too much because when a baby wakes up, she has her own routine." (Must Read: Soha Ali Khan Shares A Cute Picture Of Her Little Angel, Inaaya Naumi Kemmu Decked In Winter Outfit)
