Recently, a Reddit user shared a funny video from Ranveer Allahbadia's podcast featuring Smriti Irani. In the video, BeerBiceps asked the politician what made her say 'Yes' to the podcast, and the latter gave a funny answer. Slamming the host for cleverly posing the question to get appreciation, Smriti said:
"I have no idea. I knew that BeerBiceps had sent an invitation, and I said 'Yes'. I know that this is a very cleverly-posed question so that I can say 'Oh I am such a big fan."

Smriti Irani's statement left BeerBiceps stunned, but he maintained his composure. However, the host denied the remarks and justified that his intentions were not manipulative. However, Smriti was quick to react, and she straight-forwardly said that Ranveer was lying. She was heard saying:
"Of course, it is. He is lying. Everything he says is not true. I have been in the acting business, I know a hustler when I see one."
As soon as the video was shared on social media, people were quick to react to it. They hailed Smriti Irani for her hilarious nature and slammed Ranveer Allahbadia for his pretentious image. While one user wrote, "I don't know if it's just me. His whole body language in this video screams fake and awkward.
