Ranveer Allahbadia's Comeback Post IGL Controversy: Tanmay Bhat Roasts Him, Ashish Hilariously Jibes

Ranveer Allahbadia found himself in the midst of controversy as soon as he appeared on Samay Raina's show, India's Got Latent. The YouTuber ended up making an inappropriate joke that sparked a massive issue in the nation. Several FIRs were lodged against Ranveer and others. Amid this, Ranveer took a break. While he was given permission to be back with his podcast, The Ranveer Show, he needed a bit of time of his own to make a comeback, which he did on March 30, 2025. 

Ranveer Allahbadia makes a comeback on digital platforms

Ranveer Allahbadia returned to the digital platforms on Sunday. While he dropped a video on his YouTube and shared it on LinkedIn, which his fans, friends, and fellow members supported, on IG, he shared some adorable photos. In some of the photos, Ranveer was seen with his teammates, and in the outdoor location, in one of the snaps, he was seen adoring his furry friend.

In a snap, Ranveer posed with his grandmother, while in another photo, he was caught in a candid mood. Well, it's a sure thing that Ranveer is back from his digital detox, leaving behind all the negativity. In the caption, he thanked those who supported him and also the universe. Calling it a new chapter and re-birth, Ranveer wrote:

"Thank you to my loved ones. Thank you universe. A new blessed chapter begins - Rebirth.."

Ashish Chanchlani was also a part of the IGL controversy, which came out as massive. Now, as Ranveer is back on IG, Ashish Chanchlani made a hilarious comment by slightly taunting him in a light-hearted manner. Ashish said that he loves Ranveer and further requested him not to crack a joke near him. On the other hand, another YouTuber, Tanmay Bhat started roasting Ranveer Allahbadia with several comments such as "Missed you (not really)", "Nice of you to click photos with the only subscribers you have left." and more.

What happened in IGL that ended up causing trouble for Ranveer Allahbadia and others

It was during an episode of IGL that Ranveer ended up making a crass comment. He asked a contestant a question about parents' intimacy. Ranveer asked the contestants if they would keep watching their parents' intimacy or join them to put a stop to it forever. This comment left Samay Raina shocked. Well, such comments brought along an FIR, which was lodged against Samay, Ranveer, and Apoorva for their use of crass and abusive language on their show. When the comment was blown out of proportion, Ranveer also shared a video on his IG handle to say sorry. He stated that comedy is not his expertise, and thus, he messed up, and his joke was not only not funny but also crossed limits.
