As per the reports, Ranveer had his bachelor party in Orlando with his close buddies and his bride-to-be, Deepika attended the bash. And now the whisper in the town is another scoop from their big fat much-awaited wedding ceremony.
According to SpotboyE, a source close to the couple revealed that Ranveer and Deepika’s wedding will be done as per Sindhi wedding rituals. As per Sindhi wedding customs, the clothes of the groom are torn before the exchange of wedding vows. And it is not done by the people from the bride’s side, but it is groom’s friends and relatives only who tear up his clothes. Isn’t this an interesting one? Another report suggested that 10 days before Deepika and Ranveer’s wedding, the Padukone family will organise a puja which will take place in Deepika’s hometown, Bangalore. And post their wedding, the newly-weds will host a reception bash for their friends from the industry. The SpotboyE report states, “A source close to the Padukone has told SpotboyE that a Nandi Puja will be held at their Bangalore residence and that Deepika’s mother Ujjala has spoken to a Nandi Temple about arranging priests for the puja.”
As per the reports in Filmfare, a source had shared, “It’s a very special day for both Ranveer and Deepika which is why they just want the close ones to be present for their wedding ceremony. Mostly it will be their families and a few close friends. The guest list consists of merely 30 people and that’s exactly how these two want it. Italy is a favourite destination of both Ranveer and Deepika so they want to keep their big day more of a private affair. They are looking forward to hosting grand receptions once they’re back in India post the wedding.”
The source further added, “The maximum time was taken to decide the date. Both Ranveer and Deepika want everything about their marriage to be perfect. November 10th suited their calendars as well as their parents. The roka was done long back and the wedding date was finalised just a few weeks ago. Preparations are in full swing from both sides. Ladies have begun the wedding shopping. Ranveer is extremely excited about the wedding and is evidently on cloud nine with both his professional and personal life being on a high.”
When Deepika was asked in an interview to comment on the rumours of her marriage, she said three words which gave everyone a major hint of something special is going to happen.
