Deepika Padukone has made a name for herself in the Hindi film industry with her sheer hard work and determination. Starting her career with the 2007 blockbuster film, Om Shanti Om, she has come a long way with several popular films to her name, including Bajirao Mastani, Padmaavat, Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani, Chennai Express, and many more. Meanwhile, the 38-year-old actress is gearing up for the release of her sci-fi film, Kalki 2898 AD, co-starring Amitabh Bachchan and Prabhas, among others.
Recently, the production house of Kalki 2898 AD unveiled the poster of Deepika’s character in the film. In the picture, the actress was seen wearing ragged clothes and standing on steps amidst a dystopian setting. Her facial expressions conveyed her disappointment and worry about something. Sharing the same poster on her IG feed, Deepika captioned her post as:
“The hope begins with her. #Kalki2898AD Trailer out Tomorrow.”

Soon after Deepika’s post, several people on the internet took to the comment section and penned their views on the actress’ look. What caught our attention was Deepika’s husband, Ranveer Singh’s compliment for his wife. He wrote, “Boom, Stunner.” Another netizen commented, “Can’t wait to watch you on big screen.” Meanwhile, a third user mentioned, “Damn furious.”

Apart from her professional front, Deepika has been in the news for her pregnancy. She is expecting her first child with Ranveer, whose delivery date is sometime in September 2024. While the couple’s fans are overjoyed with the news, a segment of people on the internet trolled the actress for apparently faking her pregnancy. But Deepika has kept her silence on the continuous and faceless trolls. However, her husband gave a befitting reply to those anonymous people on the internet.
Previously, Deepika delighted her fans with a few glimpses of herself in which she was radiating a beautiful pregnancy glow in a bright yellow pleated dress. Her look was accentuated by a pair of dainty diamond and pearl-studded earrings and glam makeup comprising pink lips and blushed cheeks. Deepika looked as stunning as ever with her hair tied into a messy low bun. Sharing those pictures of the mom-to-be on his Instagram stories, Ranveer penned:
“Buri nazar wale tera moonh kala (along with an evil-eye emoji).”
