As the entire nation got lit up for the festival of lights, the adorable couple also slipped into their best traditional attires and stole the show with glimpses of their Diwali celebration.
On November 12, 2023, Deepika Padukone took to her IG handle and dropped some mushy glimpses of her Diwali celebration with her husband, Ranveer Singh. For the occasion, Deepika got decked up in a red-hued traditional outfit, which she teamed with a matching dupatta. Her dress had gold floral motifs all over it, which added an oomph factor to her look. To accentuate her look, the actress opted for a pair of statement earrings and tied her hair in a bun.

Ranveer Singh put his best fashion foot forward and got dressed in a white-hued kurta pyjama. He teamed his look with a multi-coloured embroidered jacket and looked dapper. Ranveer and Deepika also performed havan at their lavish home on the occasion of Diwali. The duo won our hearts as they showcased their love for culture and traditions at the festival of lights. Sharing the pictures, Deepika penned:
"Diwali ki hardik shubhkamnayein."
For the unversed, Deepika Padukone has been on the receiving end of trolls for some time now. While social media is filled with memes about Deepika keeping Ranveer as a safe option while she dated other guys casually, netizens are bashing the actress for her controversial remarks. It so happened that during her appearance on Koffee With Karan 8, Deepika Padukone shed some light on her dating days with Ranveer Singh and revealed that she didn't commit to him until he proposed to her, due to her difficult past relationships. Talking about their casual relationship, the actress said that even if they were seeing other people, they would keep coming back to each other. Deepika further shared that whenever she met other people, at the back of her head, she knew she was committed to Ranveer. However, Deepika's honest revelations didn't go down well with some people, who ended up slamming her for her actions.
