Then when Deepika and Ranveer released their official wedding pictures on social media, their fans and netizens went crazy over how adorable they look. Ever since they became lovers-turned-‘partner for life’, people can’t stop swooning over them. The newly-weds did it again on November 21, 2018, when they made everyone gush over their PDA and charm.

Today, i.e. on November 21, 2018, the Padukones and Bhavnanis are hosting a wedding reception at Grand Hyatt, Mumbai for their close friends and relatives. DeepVeer are decked up and twinning in ivory and gold ensembles. Donning herself in designer duo Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla outfits, the designer duo captioned Deepika and Ranveer’s Mumbai reception picture as, “ETHEREAL ROMANCE @deepikapadukone is an absolute dream in this gorgeous Ivory and Gold Chikankari ensemble. As soon as their first picture popped up on social media and DeepVeer appeared in front of the paparazzi, our timeline got flooded with their pictures and videos. Both Deepika and Ranveer together are a sight to behold. On November 24, 2018, Ranveer Singh’s sister, Ritika Bhavnani hosted a gothic-themed post-wedding party for DeepVeer in Mumbai. Ranveer, who leaves no stone unturned to make his wife feel special, welcomed Deepika on-stage by proudly saying, "Ladies and gentlemen, I married the most beautiful girl in the world." Welcoming all guests, Ranveer further stated, “Guys, we are really, really happy to all of you together here tonight. It's going to be an epic, epic night because there's so many of you. All our lovers and friends under one roof. The dance looks too empty to me. We are here to celebrate for the epic future to you and me." Post their wedding functions, Deepika and Ranveer will go on a brief honeymoon. Since Deepika and Ranveer both are at the peak of their careers, they want to concentrate on their work commitments as well. According to Mumbai Mirror reports, a source was quoted as saying, "The couple will head for a brief honeymoon before Ranveer dives into the promotions of Simmba which opens on December 28."
Also, Deepika and Ranveer have asked their guests to not shower them with wedding gifts and instead donate it to her NGO, 'The Live Love Laugh Foundation'. As per a Mid-Day report, "The bride and groom have requested the guests to not shower them with gifts. If they wish to give them anything, they've requested that donations be made to Deepika's foundation that actively works towards creating awareness and removing the stigma around depression. Both Ranveer and Deepika are deeply committed to the cause and want to involve all their guests in the good deed."
