His daughter, Raha, has completely changed Ranbir Kapoor's approach towards life and brought out the softest version of him in front of the world. On the other hand, Ranveer Singh is an expectant father who is currently in the seventh heaven waiting for his baby. For the unversed, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are expecting their first child in September 2024, and the couple announced their pregnancy with the world with a cutesy collaborative post on Instagram on February 29, 2024.
While Ranbir Kapoor is experiencing the best phase of his life with his baby girl, Raha, Ranveer Singh is patiently waiting to experience the same. The duo last met under the same roof at the Ambani soiree in Jamnagar, Gujarat. And an insider from the bash reported to BollywoodLife that Ranveer Singh was very impressed with Ranbir Kapoor's fatherhood journey, and the duo had a hearty conversation about the same.

The insider also added that the duo talked mostly about babies and Ranveer took parental advice from the Animal actor. Ranveer was also impressed by the fact that Ranbir has taken a parental break after the arrival of his daughter, and he plans to do the same. Additionally, the Simmba actor wants to take a break and be with Deepika for the entirety of her pregnancy. The insider further added:
"Ranveer and Ranbir Kapoor get along extremely well and they both made heads turn by appearing on Karan Johar's show Koffee With Karan together. Even at the pre-wedding event of Radhika and Anant, Ranveer and Ranbir were seen sitting with each other where the Simmba star was congratulated by him over fatherhood and they spoke about babies and just babies. Ranveer was impressed with the way how Ranbir had taken a good leave after the arrival of Raha Kapoor."

A source close to the couple revealed that Ranveer Singh plans to take a year-long paternity leave to be with his wife throughout this new phase of their life. The source added that Deepika, too, is planning to take a break, for which she is swiftly wrapping up all her work, but Ranveer, on the other hand, has a load of projects planned ahead of him. The insider revealed:
"Deepika had already cleared the decks. She had gradually eased out all of her work and was getting ready for a long paternity leave. Ranveer had no such plans. But after his one-year dates for Baiju Bawra were vacated, Ranveer had no other assignments ready to go on the floor. He has now decided not to take any interim assignments before Don 3, Shaktiman, and Aditya Dhar's action films start next year. He will be spending time with Deepika and the baby."
