Deepika and Ranveer’s love banter had started in 2012, during the making of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela. On January 20, 2022, Deepika Padukone shared the trailer of her upcoming film Gehraiyaan, and her hubby, Ranveer Singh gave the sweetest reply to it. Ranveer took to his IG handle and shared a snippet of Deepika from her upcoming film and penned a mushy note for his wife and appreciated the whole team. He wrote:
"Moody, sexy and intense!!! Domestic noir? Sign me up! All the favs @shakunbatra @ananyapanday @siddhantchaturvedi @dhairyakarwa. Naseer the Legend! & my babygirl lookin like a Fazillion buxxx @deepikapadukone"
The upcoming film, Gehraiyaan directed by Shakun Batra also stars Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday, Dhairya Karwa, Naseeruddin Shah, and Rajat Kapoor. As soon as Ranveer shared the snippet, Dhairya commented, "Bhai" with numerous red heart emojis, while Ananya wrote, "You're the fave", and many others flooded the comment section with heart emojis.

On January 5, 2021, Deepika had turned 36, and Ranveer had penned a note for her. He had shared a picture of Deepika flaunting her back and enjoying herself in the pool. Alongside it, Ranveer had bared his heart out in the caption. He had written:
"My baby promoting #gehraiyaan on her birthday!"
In an interview with the Indian Express in 2020, while promoting his show, The Big Picture, Ranveer Singh was asked how he would paint his life’s big picture. Ranveer had blushed and had imagined his life with his wife, Deepika Padukone, and their kids. He had said:
“Woah! I would want a lovely house where my wife, my kids and my family are around, playing around joyfully. Everyone is happy and healthy. I don’t know what else to ask other than that I am able to entertain till my last day. This is my life’s big picture.”
