Ranveer Singh is a powerhouse of talent and there’s no second thoughts about it. The actor enjoys a massive fanbase, courtesy of his handsome looks and unbeatable acting mettle. He made his debut with the 2010-released film, Band Baaja Baaraat, which made him an overnight sensation. Thereafter, he became a part of countless films and won several awards and accolades for the same. Currently, the actor is basking in the glory of his recently-released film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani and has received a lot of appreciation from his audience. However, he spoke about that one compliment from a special someone, which has won our hearts.
During the press conference of his recently released film, Ranveer Singh addressed various media queries and also revealed some unheard anecdotes from the memories of shooting the film together with a large ensemble cast. During the same, he was asked about what his wife, Deepika Padukone’s reaction was, after watching the film. To this, Ranveer blushed and responded how his wife was just proud of his work. In his words:
“I was really just there for her reaction and she was laughing, she was crying, she was clapping, whistling and often times turning to me and saying 'aww'. I had the best and most fulfilling experience sitting with her and watching it. She's very proud of me and I am very happy about that.”

A few days back, Ranveer Singh had taken to his IG stories and dropped a cutesy car selfie with his wifey, Deepika Padukone. Along with the picture, the actor mentioned how he was taking his ladylove out on a movie date to watch his latest film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. While the duo looked much-in-love in the snapshot, it was Deepika’s outfit that caught our attention. She wore a white-shirt, teamed with a blue-denim jacket, that had her husband’s initials printed on the front. Moreover, in another glimpse shared by a paparazzo handle on social media, we caught a glimpse of the other side of her jacket, which featured a funky portrait of Ranveer Singh.
On August 1, 2023, a Reddit user shared an unseen video of Deepika Padukone from one of her previous interviews. In the clip, Deepika could be seen recalling the time when she informed her parents about the decision to settle down in life with Ranveer Singh. The actress mentioned how she did not directly tell her parents that Ranveer was the one. Nevertheless, she added that her parents were totally happy about it. In her words:
“Ek to maine yeh nahi kaha ki Ranveer Singh is the one. But I think jab maine mere parents ko kaha ki humdono shaadi karna chahte hai, they were obviously very very thrilled, they were happy."

During one of his promotional events for the film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Ranveer Singh opened up on an anecdote about his personal life, which concerns his relationship with his in-laws, Prakash Padukone and Ujjala Padukone. He revealed how his mother-in-law, at first, was incapable of understanding his and Deepika’s relationship. However, he added that with time, he gelled well with her, and now she has become his favourite person.
