Ranveer Singh is in the news for all the wrong reasons. He has been receiving major backlash for making fun of Rishabh Shetty's Kantara scene. For those who don't know, Ranveer Singh recently attended the ongoing International Film Festival of India in Goa, where a clip of him mimicking the scene from Rishabh Shetty's superhit film, Kantara surfaced.
In the clip, Ranveer was talking about Rishabh Shetty's character of 'Guliga Daiva' and his scene with his sister, 'Chaundi', who was a female ghost. Ranveer crossed his eyes and put his tongue out as he performed a version of his primordial scream. However, Rishbah laughed at Ranveer's fun take on his character.

In the clip, Ranveer jokingly asked if anybody here wanted him to be part of Kantara 3. However, fans didn't like Ranveer's act. One of the users pointed at Ranveer's unnecessary take on Kanatra, and wrote, "Ranveer’s reaction to the Kantara scene really felt unnecessary and disrespectful."

Another netizen mentioned how he made fun of Rishabh Shetty. A third user penned, "Ranveer should start acting like an A-list actor, not chapri in public. He does good acting, but these things he does in public make him look like a clown.

For the unversed, Rishabh Shetty is being loved for his blockbuster hit Kantara: A Legend – Chapter 1, released a few months ago. Kantara Chapter 1 is the prequel of the superhit film, Kantara. The film takes you back to the Kantara land and shows what happens when the tribe and the Bangara kingdom clash due to their differences. The film is undoubtedly the best in terms of technical work. Rishab Shetty teamed with Hombale Films and delivered stunning visual frames, making it a must-watch.

Rishab Shetty is the centre of the film, not just as a director, actor or writer, but also in his portrayal during the divine possession and the trance sequences shown in the film. The film showcases VFX of animals that make you pause, as the team pulls off fantastic visuals that appear incredibly realistic.
Talking about Ranveer Singh, fans are awaiting his upcoming film, Dhurandhar. It is believed to be based on a real-life story of Major Mohit Sharma. However, the makers have not released much about the storyline and kept it a surprise. But they confirmed that the film is based on real-life events, but they have not revealed the names upon which it is based.
