Ranveer Singh's 'Dhurandhar' Trailer Cut By Yami Gautam's Brother, Netizens React, 'He Deserves...'

Ranveer Singh's new spy thriller, Dhurandhar, just dropped its trailer on November 18, 2025. Fans have been going gaga over the trailer and are anticipating the film's release on December 5, 2025. The film is directed by Aditya Dhar, who is currently married to Bollywood actress, Yami Gautam. Dhar claimed that it is Yami's brother, Ojas Gautam, whose incredible editing skills made the trailer what it is today. Yes, you read that right.  

Aditya Dhar praised Ojas Gautam for editing the Dhurandhar trailer 

For those who are unaware, Ojas Gautam is the 22-year-old brother of the actress, Yami Gautam, and brother-in-law of the Dhurandhar filmmaker, Aditya Dhar. During the film's trailer launch event, held at the NMACC in Mumbai, on the morning of November 18, 2025, Aditya Dhar took the initiative to introduce Ojas Gautam to the media. He praised the young Ojas, who edited this film's trailer, stating: 

“It’s been almost 72-76 hours that this boy hasn’t slept. He was cutting this trailer till 4 am in the morning, and then got it all done.” 

The film's director is not the only one who showed Ojas Gautam some love. During the event, Arjun Rampal, another cast member of Dhurandhar, came over and hugged Ojas. After this sweet moment between the two, Aditya Dhar continued with his praise for Ojas. Aditya claimed: 

“He is 22 years old. He is very close to me. He was there with me since 2020-21 when we were trying to make Ashwatthama happen. One of the reasons why I was able to make this film because of the persistence of this boy. He never stopped believing in me.” 

Ojas Gautam's elder sister, Yami Gautam, also showed her support for the film's trailer. Unable to hide her excitement, Yami took to her official X (formerly Twitter) account and reposted her husband, Aditya Dhar's original tweet and wrote, “Ladies & gentlemen, you are not ready for this. Welcome 2026 with #DHURANDHAR !!!! Proud of you @AdityaDharFilms." 

Netizens’ reaction to Ojas Gautam's edit of the Dhurandhar trailer  

For the unversed, Ojas Gautam is the youngest sibling of Yami Gautam, with whom the actress previously shared pictures on her Instagram over the years. However, not much was known about him until now. Since Aditya Dhar formally introduced Ojas Gautam at the film's trailer launch event in front of the media, movie fanatics have taken to social media to share their opinions on the 22-year-old and his work. Most netizens agreed with Dhar, who couldn't stop praising his brother-in-law. One Instagram user wrote, “The trailer cut is outstanding btw… created more hype imo.” Another comment read, “He deserves all the praises and accolades for this editing. Brilliantly cut trailer.” 

What to expect from Dhurandhar after watching the trailer? 

After watching Ojas Gautam’s outstanding work on the film's trailer, fans are eagerly awaiting December 5, 2025, when the movie will finally be released in theatres. The movie is inspired by multiple real-life events, including Operation Lyari in Pakistan and other possible Indian intelligence missions. The star-packed cast of Dhurandhar will also not disappoint viewers, featuring Ranveer Singh, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal.
