Ranvir Shorey is a popular actor and TV host, who was most recently seen in the film, Jassi Weds Jassi. It is worth mentioning that he was once well-known as the host for the TV dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa. In his personal life, he was married to Bollywood actress, Konkona Sen Sharma, however, the two eventually parted ways. Well, now Ranvir Shorey has finally opened up about his separation with the actress.
Recently, Ranvir Shorey sat down for a candid conversation with Bollywood Bubble. During their chat, the Jassi Weds Jassi actor opened up about his relationship with exes. He revealed that one person should not be so much in touch with their ex that it would make the current partner insecure. He was quoted as saying:
"You should not be so in touch that it makes your present partner uncomfortable. I am not in favour of that at all. And that means a lot to me. Obviously, if you had a relationship with someone and you bump into them, it's not like you won't even say hi. But I don't think it should get to a point where the ex is also part of the family."

Ranvir Shorey further continued to share his opinion on using dating apps. He revealed that ever since he separated from his ex-wife, Konkona Sen Sharma, he has been using dating apps. While talking about the same, he said that even though he uses those apps, his requirements are very different as he is a divorced single father. In his words:
"Yes, I do use dating apps. Requirements in a match vary from person to person. For me, as a divorced single father, they would be different from what a 30-year-old would have."

During the same candid conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Ranvir Shorey also spoke about his separation with Konkona Sen Sharma. He revealed that the two parted ways when their son was 4 years old. For those who don’t know, Ranvir and Konkona have a son together named Haroon. He shared:
"I sought separation at the right age for him. I had problems even before that. But I waited until he was four years old. I didn't delay it any more because of this exact reason. I felt that later in life, it would have a stronger impact on him. I thought four was a good age to initiate this. Because at that age, the child knows who his mother and father are. Also, they are at a more malleable age. If they have to adapt to a new way of life, it is less traumatic, I feel."
