Police found drugs at GloRilla's residence after a complaint of an attempted Burglary

GloRilla a.k.a Gloria Hallelujah, was arrested by the local police of Forsyth County in Georgia on July 22, 2025. Multiple media reports by TMZ and statements from the authorities have revealed that she was booked for having a Schedule 1 controlled substance and m**rijuana over one ounce at her home. It is important to note that the arrest comes shortly after her popular appearance at the Gainsbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. GloRilla had left the audience mesmerised there by performing on her viral hits like Let Her Cook, Typa and TGIF. However, the rapper was released after posting a USD 22,260 bond. News of her arrest came after the police took action in an attempted theft at her home on July 20, 2025. It all began when three suspects were trying to get into her residence in her absence with the intention to rob, and someone fired from inside. Although those suspects left, the authorities discovered the drugs in the rapper's closet. After denying immediate comment, Sheriff Ron Freeman later told Variety:

"The homeowner is a victim of a serious crime, and we are committed to bringing the suspects to justice. At the same time, we must continue to uphold and enforce the law in all aspects of this case."

The drug charges aren't the first time GloRilla had a run-in with the law. Earlier, the 25-year-old was arrested in April 2024 near Gwinnett County for driving under the influence of alcohol, which is a legal crime. When the officers stationed on duty tried to stop her, she made an illegal U-turn at a red light. Finally, when GloRilla was pulled over, she appeared to be intoxicated. Even body cam footage had shown that she was finding it difficult to maintain her balance while the authorities took a sobriety test. Later, GloRilla accepted that she had drunk alcohol.
