Rasha Thadani is one of Bollywood’s newest star kids on the block. The actress is the daughter of veteran actress, Raveena Tandon, and gained immense praise for her acting stint in her debut film, Azaad. Recently, Rasha gave us a glimpse into her family dynamics, especially her experience growing up with her adopted sisters, Pooja and Chhaya.
In a chat with Femina, Rasha spilt the tea on her close-knit sibling bond, describing how the four of them — Pooja, Chaya, Rasha, and her younger brother, Ranbirvardhan — often split into teams. Talking about her dynamic with her siblings, Rasha shared:
“Complete and utter madness. Chhaya didi and Ranbir are perhaps a little calmer, but Pooja didi and I, we can fight and argue as a team against them. It’s absolute madness.”
For those unfamiliar with Raveena Tandon’s inspiring journey, the actress was just 21 years old when she adopted Pooja and Chhaya in 1995. Years later, in 2004, she married film distributor, Anil Thadani and had two more children, Rasha and Ranbirvardhan. Despite the chaos, Rasha’s love for her siblings is undeniable.
In an earlier interview with Zoom, Raveena Tandon talked about the time she had decided to adopt her two daughters, Pooja and Chhaya, when they were 8 and 11 years old, respectively. Talking about the trolling she received upon adopting them out of wedlock, Raveena shared:
“Whenever you do something, there will always be these trolls or someone will make some sexist remark, trying to create controversies out of nothing. I remember one article even saying that these must be her hidden children, which she must have had out of wedlock. When I was 21, they were eight and 11. So, when did I have them? When I was 11 or 12?”
Raveena once described her relationship with her daughters in an old interview with Hindustan Times. Raveena had previously shared how Pooja and Chhaya played a huge role in her life, even leading her to the mandap when she got married. The mother-daughter bond has only grown stronger over the years. She was quoted as saying:

“My daughters are my best friends. I remember, when I got married, they were the ones who sat in the car and led me to the mandap. And now, I got the chance to walk them down the aisle. It is such a special feeling.”
Rasha made her debut in Bollywood with Azaad, a period drama set in pre-Independence India, exploring themes of love, loyalty, and courage. However, despite the hype, the film failed to make a significant impact at the box office. Meanwhile, her stunning mom, Raveena Tandon, was seen in the film, Patna Shuklla.
What do you think about Rasha Thadani’s sibling dynamics with her brother and adopted sisters?
