In a recent chat with Prema, the Dear Comrade actress was asked about the impending wedding buzz with alleged boyfriend, Vijay Deverakonda, that is reportedly scheduled for next month. Reacting to the buzz, Rashmika said that the rumours surrounding their marriage began four years ago, and people have been asking the same question. However, Rashmika highlighted that they will speak about it when it is supposed to be. She was quoted as saying:

"It has been four years since these rumours began, right? And people have been asking the same question. People have been waiting for the same thing. But today, the truth is, I will speak about it when it's supposed to be spoken about. When it's supposed to be spoken about, we will speak about it."

According to multiple reports, Rashmika and Vijay’s impending marriage is reportedly scheduled to take place in February 2026 in Udaipur, Rajasthan. In December 2025, a source close to the couple said to Hindustan Times that the couple will be tying the knot on February 26, 2026, at a palace in Udaipur. The source also mentioned that Rashmika and Vijay have finalised one of the heritage properties. The source highlighted that, just the couple’s engagement, the wedding ceremony will also be intimate with their loved ones in attendance. Amid the rumours, Rashmika said to The Hollywood Reporter India that she would not like to confirm or deny the impending marriage. In her words:

"I wouldn't like to confirm or deny the marriage. I will just say when it's to be spoken about, we shall."
