In an interview with We Are Yuvaa, Rashmika Mandanna talked about her equation with her alleged beau, Vijay Deverakonda. The diva called Vijay cutely 'Viju' and stated that they grew up together. Talking more about him, Rashmika mentioned that Vijay is someone on whom she relies for any kind of advice. The actress also added that Vijay has made a huge contribution to anything that she does in her life. Sharing that Vijay is not a 'yes' person, Rashmika stated:
"Viju and I, we sort of grew up together. So anything I do in my life right now, he has a contribution in it. I take his advice in anything that I do. I need his opinion, and he is not a ‘yes’ person.”

In the same interview, Rashmika Mandanna revealed that Vijay Deverakonda is straightforward with everything. She remarked that the Allu Arjun actor helped her personally more than any other person in her, which is why she respects him a lot. Rashmika can be quoted as saying:
"He is like on the point, this is good, this is not good, this is what I think, this is what I don’t think. He has supported me personally, more than anyone else in my entire life. So, I feel he’s someone who I really, really respect.”

In an interview with Lifestyle Asia, Vijay was asked if he is growing up in his personal life. To this, the actor stated that he often comes across such rumours each and every year, but these reports are nothing but baseless.

Later, another report by the Hindustan Times claimed that these reports were nothing but baseless, as the alleged couple was not thinking about getting engaged or making their relationship official anytime soon. The source also dropped a bomb by confirming that Vijay and Rashmika have been living together for a while, and they are happy and content about where their relationship is currently.
