Recently, a Reddit user shared a screengrab of Rashmika and Vijay's IG stories and pointed out that the peacock in their pictures was the same. The user penned:
"Rashmika posted her birthday weekend on the story and also shared some stories from her Abu Dhabi stay where she shared a picture of a peacock. After some time VJ shared a story about his upcoming film, and in the background cameraman is trying hard to catch the peacock to let the world know."

As soon as the post was shared online, many netizens started reacting to it. A user penned, "Stop giving these obvious hints any bhaao, ab attention nahi milegi khud hee muu se direct bolengay. What is this high school drama." Another added, "Because she watches a lot of Korean high school dramas." Meanwhile, a third user wrote, "They always try to create hype for their pairing and drop the 'not so random' hints which the media and fans can pick on and ask them questions but instead they end up looking desperate and attention seeking people."

In the photo, Rashmika could be seen flashing her million-dollar smile as she posed on the terrace. However, soon after that, netizens dug out a post of Vijay, wherein he could be seen posing against a similar background. Finding out the similarities, netizens started speculating if the rumoured couple had been living together.

At a recent event in Tamil Nadu, the actor said that he would want to get married and become a father. During the promotions of his upcoming film, Family Star with Mrunal Thakur, Vijay was asked if he was to get married any time soon, and he said:
“I also want to get married and become a father.”
