Rashmika Mandanna Reveals NOT Meeting Her 13-Year-Old Sister From Past 8 Years, 'I Cry For My Off..'

Rashmika Mandanna is a renowned Telugu actress who gained superstardom in Hindi cinema with her debut film, Animal. Rashmika has been working diligently to establish herself in the Telugu industry over the past eight years. Recently, the actress revealed not being able to meet her younger sister, who is sixteen years younger than her.

Rashmika Mandanna talked about her 13-year-old sister, Shiman and not being able to meet her for the past eight years

Rashmika's sister, Shiman Mandanna, is 13 years old, and the actress misses being around her. In an interview with Nod Magazine, Rashmika first revealed that she cried on her off days, as she has a 13-year-old sister, but was not able to meet her for the past eight years. Due to work, she missed seeing her grow up. Rashmika also revealed that her sister is almost her height, but she was not able to see her journey. Rashima said:

"I cry for my off days. I have a sister who is 16 years younger to me; she’s about 13 now. And in the last eight years, since I started working, I haven’t seen her grow up. She’s almost my height now, and I couldn’t even see this journey." 

Rashmika added that over the years, she has realised that actors are always on the go, and it shook her. She has not been to her home in over a year and a half, and she misses her friends. Rashmika was quoted as saying:

"I haven't gone home in one and a half years. I don’t get to see my friends. Earlier, they would at least include you in the plans. Now they don’t even do that. And that’s the sad reality."

Recalling her mother's advice, Rashima stated that her mother taught her that if someone wants to excel in professional life, they must sacrifice their personal life, and vice versa. The actress added that she is one of those people who work as hard as they can to make both aspects of their life work. She said:

"My mum always said, ‘If you want to excel in your professional life, you will have to sacrifice your personal life, and if you want a personal life, you will have to sacrifice your work life.' But I’m someone who will say I will work twice as hard, but I’ll make both of them work. That’s an everyday battle."

Earlier, Rashmika left Neha in shock by revealing how she has a sister who is 16 years younger than her. Not only this, she added that her parents ensured her sister had a normal upbringing and no taste of stardom. They always told her that it was her life and she should not involve them in it. It was a way of protecting her personal life and not letting it be overshadowed by her stardom. Rashmika also believes that her sister should have a normal upbringing, as it will help her shape into a better human being.
