Ratan Raajput is one of the most famous faces in the Television industry. The actress rose to fame and became a household name with her stellar performances in the shows like Raavan, Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo, Ratan Ka Rishta, among others. Since the last few days, the actress has been making it to the headlines after she spoke about her terrifying experience of casting couch. And recently, the actress again talked about the same in detail.
In a recent interview with ETimes, Ratan Raajput was asked about the horrifying experience of casting couch that she faced in the year 2008. The actress mentioned that although she was earlier scared of talking about such incidents, now she is not, as she feels like aspiring actors should know these things so that they can stay more alert.

In the same interview, Ratan Raajput talked about her experience on the casting couch in detail. The actress shared that she once went to an audition for a casting agent in Oshiwara, who told her that the director wanted to talk to the actress. Ratan shared that she went to meet the director at a nearby cafe with one of her friends. The actress mentioned that she was offered soft drinks, which she refused to drink, but she was persuaded to take a few sips. Ratan stated that she left that place, and within a minute, she got a call for the second audition.
Further, in the interview, Ratan shared that after getting a call, she went for the second audition with her brother. The actress shared that there were few people, in that office and it felt a bit fishy, so she left. The actress mentioned that she started feeling dizzy and she had no control over her body. The actress mentioned that she was sure something was in her drink, but she was lucky to reach home. She said:
"I went for it immediately, taking my rakhi brother along. The office where I had to give an audition had a few people, but it seemed a little fishy, so I left. An hour later, I started feeling dizzy and had no control over my body. I was sure that something was mixed in the soft drink. Luckily, I had reached home by that time.”

Talking about the effect of such a horrifying experience, Ratan Raajput mentioned that she didn't go to meetings and auditions for months. She stated that she was nervous and decided to only audition for the well-known production houses. Ratan also gave a message to the aspiring actors and shared that they should be more careful, and if they are uncomfortable with anything, they should say no immediately. Ratan mentioned:
"What I went through was not casting couch, but it was very scary. I remember at that time I didn’t go to any meetings or auditions for a month because I was nervous. I decided that I would audition for only well-known production houses. Young, aspiring actors should be careful and if they are not comfortable with something, they should say no."
For the unversed, Ratan Raajput was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder that affected her eyes. In the same interview, the actress talked about the same and recalled the time when she started working again after a long break due to her health problems. However, Ratan also added she has recovered well and wants to get back to work soon.
