Raveena Tandon Gifts 'Chooda' To Bride And Groom At Mass Marriage Event, Netizens Say, 'She Is A...'

Raveena Tandon is an actress who is known for her stellar performance in Hindi cinema. The actress made her debut with the 1991 action film, Patthar Ke Phool. However, it was films like Dilwale, Mohra, Khiladiyon Ka Khiladi and Ziddi that earned her prominence.

Raveena Tandon recently attended a mass wedding event where her generosity towards the newlywed couple left everyone in awe. According to the video shared by Viral Bhayani, Raveena was at a saamoohik vivah mohotsav when she took the stage and gifted her bangles to the newlywed. What further made the bangles special was the fact that they were engraved with her and her husband, Anil Thadani's names. 

It was on February 22, 2025, when a paparazzo shared a video of Raveena attending a mass wedding event organised by Mohsin Haider at BMC Chawl. The actress was seen gifting the bride and groom her special chooda which carried their name engraved on it. She revealed that the bangles were an important part of Punjabi ceremonies, and she wanted to gift them to the couple on their special occasion.

For the unversed, brides wear a chooda for a minimum of 40 days, these bangles are gifted to the bride by her maternal uncle on the day of the wedding. She was quoted saying:

"Ek shub din hai isliye mai inko ek shubh tohfa deke jaana chahati hu. Ye chooda hai, isey hum pehentey hai chaalis din, hum punjabiyon mei. Toh ispar mera naam likha hai, isko dulhan ko pehna ke jaa rahi hu. Aur jispar Anil ka naam likha hai vo mai Piyush (groom) ko pehna k ja rahi hu."

The guests present at the event clapped and cheered for the actress' sweet gesture. The bride and groom were delighted to get such a precious gift from Raveena Tandon. She hugged the bride before leaving the stage. As soon as the video was shared online, netizens also chimed in to commend the actress. One user wrote, "Was it real gold? Wow." Another commented, "She is a gem." An Instagram user penned, "Great job."

For the occasion, Raveena Tandon wore a traditional red ensemble. The silk kurta set was clad with intricate gold embroidery. The kurta featured a vertical gold pattern with delicate detailing along the neckline, the hem of the kurta and the cuffs. The actress paired the beautiful red kurta with a matching pant and dupatta adding stars to the look. Raveena opted for a stunning choker necklace with intricate stonework paired with matching earrings and a bindi. She kept her hair open in soft curls, while for her glam, she chose a natural look with soft pink lips.
