Raveena Tandon’s daughter, Rasha Thadani is quite the rising star-kid at the moment. While she is yet to make her silver screen debut, Rasha enjoys quite the fan following amidst the paparazzi as well as the fans, who love her sense of simplicity and gorgeous beauty. For the unversed, Raveena and her husband, Anil Thadani are also blessed with a son, Ranbirvardhan, who prefers to stay out of the limelight. And now, the actress opened up about her daughter’s perception of the exceeding attention she receives from the paparazzi.
In an interaction with NDTV, Raveena Tandon opened up about her daughter, Rasha Thadani’s perception on the culture of paparazzi. The doting mother recalled her daughter’s first encounter with the paparazzi and the innocent question she asked on being followed by them. In her words:
“So Rasha said, 'Mumma, you know they found me in a salon. How did they know I was there? I said the car number. Our car numbers are the same and they are always around on bikes. So the minute they see the car, they start following. Rasha was saying 'Mumma, I was going to the salon and see how I'm dressed. I said, 'It's fine, just be yourself. Don't have to change for anyone."

Further in the interview, Raveena talked about why she chose to keep her children away from the paparazzi and limelight for the longest. The actress mentioned that she didn’t want to steal their innocence by throwing them into excessive attention, which they were not used to. Elaborating more, she said:
“I think I kept my children away from paparazzi and this extra attention all through these years when they were children. You rarely saw them, you know, when they were young because I never wanted them to feel special because at such a young age if you expose them to so much attention, I think there might be a time when they are old and if suddenly that attention is taken away from them or they are not given that attention, they'll start being insecure about themselves in their lives.”
In the concluding segment of the interview, Raveena talked about how she has made her children understand how to navigate with the attention that she receives being the daughter of an actress. Raveena revealed telling her children that people look up to them due to the work that their mother has done. She mentioned:
“You are not special. It's because your mom is something, these photographers are there. I intentionally and consciously avoided taking them where I knew there will be media and they are gonna be papped."

Previously, in an interview with Lehren Retro, Raveena Tandon shared that she never hid her past relationships from her children, and has instead been quite open about them. She remarked that as such she is a public figure, the details about her life are already out there, and there is a a possibility that her kids would read about their mom's life anytime they want.
