Raveena Tandon is one of the finest actresses in Bollywood. The diva, known for her gorgeous looks and charismatic personality has been ruling millions of hearts for a long time now. During her versatile career, Raveena has worked with some of the greatest stars of the generation, including Govinda, Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty among others. In her personal life, she is married to film distributor, Anil Thadani and they are blessed with two children, Rasha and Ranbirvardhan.
In an interaction with The Indian Express, Raveena Tandon revealed how the iconic film of 1993, Darr was offered to her first. For the unversed, the movie featured Shah Rukh Khan, Juhi Chawla and Sunny Deol in pivotal roles. Speaking about the offer she got, Raveena remarked that she was offered Juhi’s character first, followed by that to Aishwarya Rai. While the latter stepped back due to her Miss World pageant, Raveena rejected since she wasn’t comfortable with some of the scenes from the film. In her words:

“One film got shut because the director passed away. I didn’t do the second film because I was not happy with the costumes so I stepped back from that. We did Zamana Deewana but that also got delayed.”
Previously, in an interview with The Film Companion, Raveena Tandon talked about the equation she used to share with other actresses back in the 90s era of Bollywood. The actress revealed that since there weren’t any smartphones or technology-driven items prevalent back then, there was no other alternative than every actor in the sets to sit with each other and talk, when they had free time. As a result, Raveena added that nearly everyone knew about the smallest detail about the other’s personal life.
