Raveena Tandon was recently bestowed with the prestigious Padma Shree award by the President of India in recognition of her impeccable contributions to the film industry. The moment was especially remarkable for the actress as she was accompanied by her hubby, Anil Thadani and her kids, Rasha and Ranbir, to be her biggest cheerleaders on the grand achievement.
Taking to her IG handle a few moments back, Rasha Thadani posted two stunning pictures with her mother, Raveena Tandon, as the latter gracefully flaunted her Padma Shree award. The duo looked mesmerising as they looked their fashionable best and flashed their sweetest smiles on the camera. Moreover, the doting daughter also penned a lovely note to congratulate her mommy for her historic win. Recalling how she and her brother, Ranbir felt all proud, she captioned the post as:
“The Padma Shree award, one of the most prestigious awards of the republic of India. What a year this has been for you. You keep saying it’s Nana’s doing, that he’s helping you achieve what you’re achieving, and I don’t doubt that, but it’s also all your hard work. You deserve all the success, love and respect you’re receiving. I couldn’t be a prouder daughter, watching you and your work getting honoured in front of the most respected people of our community. This is a victory for you mama. Your humility, grace and kindness inspires Ranbir and I to work harder and to be our best selves. The sky is your limit, can’t wait to see what you do next.”

Winning one of the highest civilian awards in India is not a small matter, and Raveena, too, believes the same. After bagging such a prestigious achievement, Raveena felt short of words to express her happiness. In her gratitude speech after being bestowed such an honour, the actress dedicated her win to her late father. Furthermore, she thanked everyone who recognised her humble contributions to Indian cinema. In her words:
“Honoured and grateful. Thank you so much, Government of India, for acknowledging my contributions, my life, my passion and purpose -- cinema and the arts, that allowed me to contribute, not only to the film industry, but beyond. I thank all those who guided me through this journey of Art and Craft of Cinema, all those who held my hand through it, and all those who watched me from their place above. I owe this to my father."
Apart from being a talented actress, Raveena is a fabulous and protective mom to her kids, Rasha Thadani, Ranbirvardhan Thadani, Pooja Tandon and Chaya Tandon. A glimpse of the same was found in a recent video circulated on social media, when Raveena and her daughter, Rasha, were spotted returning to Mumbai after her Padma Shree win. As the duo approached the car after obliging the fans for pictures, there was a moment when a fan pushed Rasha a bit, making her mommy angry. She furiously called out to the person and asked him not to push the children.
