Ravi Dubey Reveals 'Family Planning' Is Not Top Priority For Him And Sargun, Actor Says, 'Woh Ab..'

Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta have long been among the most loved couples on Indian Television. They began their journey as co-stars on the show, 12/24 Karol Bagh, which brought them attention and continues to date where they have built an empire as producers and are soaring high in their acting careers. Ravi and Sargun have won hearts both on and off-screen while their love story continues to inspire many fans. However, since the day they tied the knot, the couple have been asked about their decision about family planning. Once again, in a new interview, Ravi and Sargun shared their reaction to the same.

Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta, who have together established themselves as successful producers sat down for a conversation with Zoom. Ravi reflected on his journey over the years and shared that he and Sargun have just tried to work with honest intentions over the years. They believe it is a significant aspect of success. At the same time, Ravi explained that they have worked for a long time in the Television industry, which helped them learn some significant lessons about hard work and managing work load.

On the other hand, Sargun Mehta added that just like a woman is credited for being a supportive pillar of a successful man, a man should be credited for being the supportive figure behind a successful woman. The actress stated that it's always a balanced equation. When asked about any plans to grow their family, Ravi said:

“Family Planning woh ab priority nahi hai.”

Sargun Mehta shared her views on having kids with Ravi Dubey 

In an old interview with Hindustan Times, Sargun Mehta shared that nowadays, people are only expecting a couple to have kids, which is affecting the perception towards the entire institution of marriage. The actress mentioned that the couple who want to have kids are not wrong. However, everyone has different priorities and goals. In her words:

"Some people achieve it when they're 25, some achieve it when they're 40. Only when you feel that you're satisfied with what you want to do in life can you move ahead and give somebody else happiness. It's not something you can do while you're still struggling or clawing to be someone. I am on a different journey at the moment."

Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta's fairytale love story began when they worked together on the TV show, 12/24 Karol Bagh. The duo played a reel-life couple on the show and started dating in real life. After keeping their relationship a secret from everyone, they made it official after five months. The Jamai Raja actor made a grand proposal to Sargun when they participated in the show, Nach Baliye 5 in December 2012, and they tied the knot on December 7, 2013.
