Ravi Kishan Got 'A Little Crazy' After Success, Says 'Tevar Chala Gaya' After Father-Brothers' Death

Ravi Kishan recalled a time when he had developed an attitude after his immense success in the Bhojpuri film industry. But the death of his father and brothers changed him completely.

Ravi Kishan Got 'A Little Crazy' After Success, Says 'Tevar Chala Gaya' After Father-Brothers' Death

Ravi Kishan is one of the most familiar faces of the Bollywood industry. He has established a name for himself with his unique roles and acting prowess. However, before entering the Hindi film industry, he was already a superstar in the Bhojpuri film industry. To say that he was the 'Shah Rukh Khan of Bhojpuri films' would be an understatement. Due to this success, the actor revealed that he got an attitude and went 'a little crazy'. However, the unfortunate demise of his father and two brothers changed him completely. 

Ravi Kishan says his wife signed him up for Bigg Boss due to his changing attitude 

Ravi Kishan was a popular contestant in the very first season of Bigg Boss and ended up becoming the second runner-up. However, in a podcast with Raj Shamani, the actor revealed that his wife signed up for the controversial show because he was getting obnoxious due to his success. Ravi said that in the '90s, all his Bhojpuri films made silver jubilee and, which means that those films ran for 25 weeks in the theatres. Hence, due to this success, he started behaving 'a little crazy'. In the podcast, the actor said: 

“I had gone a little crazy. All my films were silver jubilees. Films are now in cinemas for a couple of weeks, but back then, all my films would be in theatres for 25 weeks. So one is bound to go a little crazy. Humko lagta tha kaat le kisiko. And at that time, my wife sent me to Bigg Boss for 3 months and locked me in.”

Ravi Kishan says that the death of his father and older brothers humbled him 

Although the success went to his head for a while, Ravi said that he was eventually humbled by the tragic incidents in his life. First, his father left for the heavenly abode. Then, two of Ravi's older brothers also died at a young age. As a result, all of his ego and pride away after encountering these hardships in life. Ravi Kishan was quoted as saying:

 “Papa chale gaye, tevar chala gaya."
