Famous NDTV journalist, Ravish Kumar has resigned from his position. Yes, the face of journalism, we have grown up watching has quit NDTV after the channel's founder, Prannoy Roy and Radhika Roy gave their resignation as directors. Ravish Kumar and his famous 'Ravish Ki Report' has been a hit among people of ages. While he had an amazing career, his personal life was a rollercoaster ride.
Ravish Kumar was born on December 5, 1974, in Jitwarpur village in Bihar. Ravish Kumar found love in Nayana Dasgupta during his college days. The couple had met at a college fest, and they found a connection. While Nayana helped Ravish in learning English, they formed a union for life. However, the couple's caste became a concern for their families, who didn't agree on their union.

Ravish Kumar is a Brahmin, while Nayana is a Bengali, but their caste never came in between their love. The couple dated for seven long years. Despite it their parents' never agreed to their marriage. They had not only received mean comments, but Ravish took an extreme step to break all his ties with his family to get married. If reports are believed, his family wasn't present at his wedding.
Ravish Kumar, who is known for his bebak point of view shared his love story in an interview with Outlook India. In his usual poetic way, he shared that his love was a painful process filled with good times. He called himself a good student in love. Ravish also added that he got his vision from his wife. Ravish was quoted as saying:
"It had its painful processes and good times too. I became a good student in love. They say behind every successful man etc etc... But she has never been behind me. There has been a lot more. Many times I feel I am speaking her thoughts. I get my vision from her. She is a harsh critic. She showed me how to read, how to see. Society, city, its structures--she helped me build the connect."
For those who don't know, Ravish Kumar is blessed with two daughters. However, he had consciously kept them away from the media glares.
