And when this chaos is the elites', the entertainment intensifies, and viewers are hooked to the screens like it's Candy Crush. Well, to entertain the audience once again, The Real Housewives franchise is returning with the wives of Rhode Island this time, and the excitement is through the roof.

The makers of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island released the first trailer for the show on November 16, 2025. The event took place at BravoCon 2025 in Las Vegas, and Andy Cohen revealed a first look at the latest instalment of The Real Housewives franchise. During the Ask Andy panel, he shared details about The Real Housewives of Rhode Island and when it will be released.

BravoCon 2025 first announced the beloved franchise, The Real Housewives, expansion in May 2025. And at the time, the cast was described as "a tight-knit circle of Rhode Islanders who have deep community roots and families that go back generations." However, now that the teaser was announced, the network has further described the cast as:

"A fresh, charismatic group of women whose lives intertwine across the storied coastline of New England luxury."

When and where will The Real Housewives of Rhode Island premiere

The Real Housewives of Rhode Island will hit screens in 2026. While the exact premiere date hasn't been announced yet, the show has already been trending across every platform. The show will premiere on Bravo. However, whether the show will also be streamed on Peacock like its sister franchises has not yet been made clear.

Meet the cast of The Real Housewives of Rhode Island

The Real Housewives of Rhode Island premiere season will star seven women from the close-knit social scene of the Island. The show has described the segment as a journey that shows them as: "they navigate the highs and lows of Rhode Island's close-knit social scene". To entertain the audience and give the world a glimpse into the lives of the housewives of Rhode Island, the seven women joining the show are: Alicia Carmody, Rosie DiMare, Ashley Iaconetti, Liz McGraw, Rulla Nehme Pontarelli, Kelsey Swanson and Jo-Ellen Tiberi, as the release states.

However, that is not all. The Real Housewives of Rhode Island will also feature a familiar face — Dolores Catania from The Real Housewives of New Jersey — who is joining as a friend of Liz McGraw. In the teaser trailer, the ladies explain their state is "a blip" on the map, "but to us, it's the centre of the universe." Another Housewife says in Rhode Island:

"Nobody tells anybody the truth, and everybody just lies to each other's faces. Smallest state with the biggest attitude, what are you gonna do?"

The Real Housewives of Rhode Island will be loaded with drama

If the fans got any hint from the trailer of the show, it's that they are in for an intense ride. In the trailer for The Real Housewives of Rhode Island, the ladies explain that everyone has "deep roots" and knows one another's extended families. "If they didn't see you in kindergarten, it's a problem," says Alicia Carmody. She is described as "Rhode Island to the core" and a "runaway bride." After eight years engaged to fiance, Billy Kitsilis, she isn't ready to take the plunge — even for their daughter, Celina. When she's "not dodging wedding bells," Alicia helps Billy run his restaurant, Pizza Mamma.

On the other hand, Rosie DiMare is a former local television news anchor and is now a DJ and the host of her own lifestyle program. She's been married for one year to husband, Rich DiMare, a well-known Frank Sinatra-style singer. Liz McGraw is labelled the 'cannabis queen'. She and her husband own and operate The Slater Centre, the largest and most successful cannabis dispensary in Rhode Island. She's also a devoted stepmom to Miranda, Briana, and Skyla.

Rulla Nehme Pontarelli is a certified financial planner and wealth manager and mom of two young children, Luca and Laila, who is married to a prominent Rhode Island podiatrist, Brian. On the other hand, the show also features former Miss Rhode Island Kelsey Swanson, now one of the state's top makeup artists. She's been in a 10-year relationship with one of Rhode Island’s "most notable figures." Jo-Ellen Tiberi is the "self-proclaimed town gossip" and is one of the top aesthetic practice development managers in the country. She's married to her high school sweetheart Gary, and they have three kids, Gian, Jolie, and Gia.

The Bachelor in Paradise meets The Real Housewives of Rhode Island

The show will also feature Ashley Iaconetti, who appeared on Bachelor in Paradise, where she found love with her now-husband, Jared Haibon, a Rhode Island native. She has two boys, Dawson and Hayden, and works on her "career as a social media powerhouse" while navigating the new world in her husband's home state.

What did Andy Cohen say about The Real Housewives of Rhode Island?

Andy Cohen previously teased that the cast of the new Real Housewives series is "incredible." In a conversation with Page Six, he revealed that they are extremely Italian. He later described the show's vibe to PEOPLE as "Italian with a capital I" and said it'll give fans "early Jersey vibes," referring to The Real Housewives of New Jersey. In a quote to Page Six, he was quoted as saying:

"They are very Italian. Rhode Island is such a small state, and they all kind of know each other and overlap, and it’s an incredible group of women who have really interesting connections," he told Page Six. "I think it’s going to really surprise people."
