David Beckham and Victoria Beckham have been a looked-up-to couple since they started dating in 1997. Parents to their four children, David has always been seen as a loving and caring family man. However, a controversy marred their marriage when, in 2004, David's former personal assistant, Rebecca Loos, alleged that the footballer had an affair with her while being married to Victoria. However, after this whirlwind of information, where did Rebecca disappear? Here's everything to know about her current life. 

Rebecca Loos and David Beckham's alleged affair around 2003

Rebecca Loos was David Beckham's personal assistant while he was playing for Real Madrid in Spain, 2003. There were whispers of rumours that perhaps the two had more than a professional relationship. Some local media portals had also claimed that they were allegedly seen together in hotels. A year later, in 2004, when her contract ended, Rebecca gave an explosive interview to News of the World. She claimed that the rumours were true and that she and David had a four-month-long affair. 

At that time, David and Victoria had been married for five years and had welcomed their two sons, Brooklyn and Romeo. In the interview, Rebecca also stated that David had 'played' her and she realised this when she saw the footballer with another model at Cristiano Ronaldo's birthday party. While these allegations by Rebecca caused a storm, David, at the time, called all her accusations false and said:

"During the past few months I have become accustomed to reading more and more ludicrous stories about my private life. What appeared this morning is just one further example. The simple truth is that I am very happily married and have a wonderful wife and two very special kids. There is nothing any third party can do to change this.”

Where is Rebecca Loos now? 

Along with being David Beckham's personal assistant, Rebecca was also a model. Her explosive allegations against David made her a household name. She occupied the spotlight for quite a while. However, after meeting a Norwegian doctor named Sven Christjar Skaiaa, Rebecca moved there. They have been happily married since 2009 and have two sons, Magnus and Liam. Rebecca now practices as a yoga instructor and has made a life in a beautiful and remote part of Norway, where her family is secluded from the eyes of the media. 

However, Rebecca has still managed to be a known face on social media. She has over fifty thousand followers on Instagram and often shares her expertise on meditation and well-being. Appreciating her current life, Rebecca had written down in a post:

"Who knew I would end up here? Living in Norway, married with two beautiful sons, speaking Norwegian every day and prioritising yoga & meditation in my life. Feeling calm, balanced and profoundly happy. A far cry from my younger self. The ebbs and flows of life! Deeply appreciative of my life."

However, even after two decades since the alleged affair and her interview, Rebecca still maintains her side of the story and says that she spoke the truth. Recently, in March 2025, Rebecca spoke on 60 Minutes in Australia and claimed that she had not lied about a single thing. A year before her recent interview, David and Victoria had lightly touched upon the period in their marriage where the footballer was accused of cheating. Victoria stated that it felt like the world was against them and that, in a way, even they had also turned against each other. Meanwhile, David also agreed that it was difficult for them during those days.

In the Call Her Daddy podcast, Victoria Beckham opened up about her marriage to David Beckham. She said that nobody thought that their relationship would work, but they have recently completed 26 years of marriage. Together, the couple has really weathered all the storms that life sent their way. Victoria shared:

"Do you know we’ve had so much thrown at us and we were talking about it because we’ve recently celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary. And by the way, people said it wouldn’t work … 26 years!".
