It was celebration time for the Kapoor and Jain families as Aadar Jain tied the knot with his ladylove, Alekha Advani, in a traditional ceremony. It was a star-studded affair as many renowned celebrities graced the event. Like always, it was Rekha who stole the show with her enigmatic presence. The actress turned many heads at the wedding and gleefully posed for the paparazzi.
For the wedding, Rekha donned a black kanjeevaram silk saree with a vibrant pink and golden border. She styled her look with a full-sleeved velvet blouse with heavy golden patchwork. She accessorised her look with heavy pink and white jewellery comprising white pearls and stones. Her accessory also included matching jhumkas and maang teeka and kadas. With gajra-adorned hair, pink eyeshadow, defined eyebrows and red lipstick, she completed her look.
Though Rekha looked stunning in her traditional avatar, her saree looked familiar. She wore the same saree 20 years back during the premiere of Amitabh Bachchan’s Black. During the premier of Black, Rekha donned the same black saree with a half-sleeved blouse and accessorised it with diamond jewellery.
Meanwhile, Aadar and Alekha’s star-studded wedding was graced by some of the eminent personalities of Bollywood. The list included Tina Ambani, Anil Ambani, Shloka Mehta, Akash Ambani, Suhana Khan, Gauri Khan, Ananya Panday, Sunita Kapoor, Bhavana Pandey, Chunky Panday, and many others. Apart from this the Kapoor families’ stars like Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were also present.
After tying the knot in the presence of their family and friends, Aadar and Alekha posed for the photographers. Alekha was dressed up in a gorgeous red-hued velvet lehenga from the shelves of Sabyasachi Mukherjee. The lehenga featured heavy golden zardozi work on the skirt, a sweetheart neckline blouse featuring zardozi embroidery, and a button-work dupatta pinned over the head.

Alekha's look was accentuated with a heavy choker neckpiece and a layered neckpiece, matching earrings, and a maang teeka. She opted for nude-toned makeup with contoured cheeks and brown-toned lipstick. However, we were in awe of her traditional chooda and modern kaleeras. The bride's kaleeras featured butterfly detailing and star trinkets. We also loved how she flaunted her sindoor.
What do you think about Rekha repeating her 20-year-old saree? Let us know.
