Rekha Recites Her Personal Self Made Shayari At At Event, 'Agar Kisi Ko Chaho Toh Etna Chaho Ki..'

Legendary veteran actress, Rekha has proven to the world that she is a symbol of style, grace, charm as she was seen at the trailer launch of Pintu Ki Pappi. She is known for her elegant die-hard looks and one-sided love for her beloved, Amitabh Bachchan, whose zikar she will never forget to do. Rekha exuded boss lady vibes at the trailer launch, but what stole the show was a personal shayari, she said. Rekha also recited a famous shayari from her film, Silsila.

Rekha knows how to make an impact on the red carpet. She had ditched her signature saree and set the stage on fire in a white blazer. The evergreen beauty of Bollywood has always grabbed the limelight because of her linkup with Amitabh after he had married Jaya Bachchan. The trio starred in the hit film, Silsila, together. Rekha, at the trailer launch, began by saying:

"Joh baat mei kehna chahti hu lekin woh baat joh lafzo mei adaa hoh jaye woh baat hi kya hogi? Mera dialogue nai hai Silsila ka dialogue hai."

Did Rekha narrate her personal shayari thinking of Amitabh Bachchan?

Amitabh had never acknowledged his relationship with Rekha in public, but time and again, she had given hints of madly being in love with him. Whenever his name came in front of Rekha, her expression was unmatched. At the trailer launch of Pintu Ki Pappi, Rekha looked sharp in a crisp white blazer that she coupled with a matching white satin blouse and pants that were wide-legged and had an effortless flow. She completed her look with black shades, statement earrings and a white cap that added a dash of glamour. Rekha, in her natural self, narrated her self-made shayari. Rekha was quoted as saying:

"Lekin etna hi kahungi ki joh chahte ho woh kehte ho chup rehne ki lazat kya jano? Yeh raaze mohabbat hai pyare tum raze mohabbat kya jano? Yeh mera ghisa pita ek hi sher hai joh mujhe aata hai. Waise maine zindagi mei ek hi sher likha hai keh du? Agar kisi ko chaho toh etna chaho ki kisi aur chaah ki chahat bhi na rahe."

Rekha's unmissable reaction when Kapil Sharma took Amitabh Bachchan's name

Rekha had once arrived on the sets of The Great Indian Kapil Show when Kapil was seen taking the name of Amitabh in front of Rekha. Kapil shared that his mom was in the front row when Big B played KBC with him. Big B then asked Kapil's mom what she ate before giving birth to him. Kapil imitated Amitabh and said, "Devi ji, kya kha ke paida kiya?" Rekha replied:

"Daal Phulka. Mujhse puchiye na, ek ek dialogue yaad hai."

The audience was shocked and could not imagine that Rekha narrated and remembered every dialogue of her ex-flame, Amitabh. It was on the sets of Do Anjaane back in 1976 when Rekha and Amitabh had first met. Their love story does not have a happy ending, but Rekha's love for him never ends.
