Rhea Chakraborty Dons An Acid Wash Baggy Denim Worth Rs. 4K As She Accepts Award For Best Podcast

Actress and former VJ, Rhea Chakraborty, who once impressed fans with her on-screen performance and vibrant personality, had an inspiring journey in showbiz. The country witnessed how the actress has healed herself, bounced back from setbacks, and made bold beginnings with her work in the entertainment and entrepreneurial world. A key symbol of Rhea's reinvention has been her podcast, Chapter 2. Unlike many other podcasts which focus on gossip and entertainment, Rhea's conversation with her guests focused on mental health, personal experiences and reinvention and it has recently received the first nod of appreciation.

Rhea Chakraborty was recently spotted at an award show in the city where her podcast, Chapter 2, received a 'Best Mental Health Podcast Award' at Podmasters Awards 2025. For those unaware, the podcast show became popular among its viewers after it featured guests like Sushmita Sen, Aamir Khan, Zakir Khan, Tanmay Bhat, Honey Singh and more, who had raw, unfiltered, heartfelt discussions around mental health, healing and self-discovery with Rhea. 

For the special occasion, the actress looked every bit glam in a minimalist outfit with a chic white corset top paired with acid wash baggy jeans worth Rs. 4,000 from her fashion brand with the same name. Rhea accessorised her look with simple hoop earrings, a statement bracelet on one wrist, with a couple of rings and dainty bracelets on the other. She left her hair open in soft waves with subtle makeup and nude lips.

A few days ago, Rhea started her clothing brand, Chapter 2's physical store in Khar, Mumbai. Talking about the same, she had a conversation with CNBC TV18. During the chat, Rhea revealed that after facing difficult times in the past, she and her brother were unable to decide on how to further their career. So they came up with the idea to start their brand, which aims to communicate with people through fashion and represents people who have overcome failures. Within a short time after its launch, it is now valued at Rs. 38 to Rs. 40 crore. In her words:

"For a while, we weren't sure where our lives were going to go. Like, what's next? We had our healing process."

Rhea Chakraborty's career so far 

Rhea Chakraborty began her career at a young age as a video jockey (VJ) for MTV India. During her teens, she was seen in shows like Pepsi MTV Wassup, TicTac College Beat, and MTV Gone in 60 Seconds. Rhea made her debut as an actress in the Telugu film, Tuneega Tuneega in 2012. After a year, she entered Bollywood with Mere Dad Ki Maruti and worked in films like Sonali Cable, Bank Chor, Half Girlfriend, and Jalebi. The actress was last seen as a gang leader on MTV Roadies XX.
