Together, Anil and Sunita with their children, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Rhea Kapoor and Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor had made their beautiful abode in Mumbai, that is filled with their cherishable memories.
For their fans, Rhea Kapoor and Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor have opened the doors of their home and revealed in a video what makes their house special. Taking their fans to the favourite corners in the house, sharing anecdotes about their sibling bond and revealing their home wali stories, Rhea and Harsh wrote, "Growing up with siblings is one of the greatest blessings in life. They are our first best friends and the foes we can't live without. The most beautiful aspect of the sibling relation, however, is that no matter how old you grow, how distant you stay, and how busy or stressed you are, even the thought of being with your sibling(s) in the safety of your house takes all the stress away. It is one of the most refreshing and overwhelming feelings. The same is the bond that I have shared with my siblings all through my life. According to Republic World, Anil Kapoor had confessed being a protective father to his children, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Rhea Kapoor and Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor. Anil had remarked, “I’m protective because I feel Harsh is still naive. Like for example, he’ll say no to very big film-makers. I hope they understand that he really wants to work with them and means well, but he’s not ready to do those films. I wish he’d at least spoken to me before… But it’s fine… That’s his decision."

Anil Kapoor and Sunita Kapoor make for one such couple, who had come a long way in their journey which had started with a prank call and resulted in happily ever after. In a Humans Of Bombay interview, Anil had revealed how Sunita had stood by him through thick and thin, and was quoted as saying, “She was from a liberal family - a banker’s daughter with a modelling career and I was bekaar! She didn’t care who I was or what my profession is - none of it mattered! I lived in Chembur and she lived on Nepeansea road – it took me an hour to reach by bus. She would start screaming, ‘No come fast by cab!’ and I’d say ‘Arrey I don’t have money’ then she’d say ‘Just come na’ and pay for my cab! We dated for 10 years––we travelled and grew together. She was always clear that she won’t enter the kitchen. If I said ‘cook’ I’d get a kick! I knew I needed to become something before asking her to marry me.
