Richa Chadha is enjoying the most beautiful phase of her life at the moment, both in her personal and professional spheres. The diva, who is expecting her first child with husband, Ali Fazal, recently delivered a massive success with her stellar performance in the web series, Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. Her looks and acting prowess has been the talk of the town in no time. And recently, she opened up about feeling something special about her pregnancy journey.
In a recent interaction with Filmygyan, Richa Chadha reflected how she feels her pregnancy has been lucky for herself and her hubby, Ali Faizal. Speaking about the same, the actress explained how her husband got quite a few film opportunities, along with a few international auditions as well. Calling it a blessing in every way, Richa said:
“I really hope so. I think certainly pregnancy has been very lucky for Ali (Fazal). Suddenly he signed 4-5 films and then got a lot of international auditions also, queries from abroad. It was quite interesting for me to see. Actually, it's a blessing, you can't plan these things, when it happens, it happens.”

In one of her earlier interviews with the Hindustan Times, Richa Chadha opened up about how she has been enjoying her pregnancy journey thus far. The actress revealed both she and her husband have been equally excited about this new phase of their life. However, she is stress-free, since she has witnessed her mother raising her and her brother exceptionally. In her words:
“We are both excited for this new phase. I am not very American about this. I have seen my mom have a second child, my younger brother, and go back to working in 40 days. I have seen all women in my family just give birth and go back to living their lives as they would. I don’t want to stress about it too.”
Earlier, while speaking with News18 Showsha, Richa Chadha revealed if she has finalised baby names with her husband, Ali Fazal. The couple, who had been quite busy off lately with tons of projects on their plate. Richa mentioned how she now wishes to find time with Ali and discuss baby names, once they reset themselves. She added:
"We haven’t discussed names yet! We haven’t had the time. I was so busy with Heeramandi and some production work before that. And Ali has been shooting non-stop. We’re looking forward to finding some time for ourselves soon, and that will be a good time to reset and look at the home environment.”

On February 9, 2024, Richa Chadha and Ali Faizal announced their pregnancy in the most beautiful way ever. They shared a glimpse of a paper chit which had on it written, “1+1=3”. They also shared a heartwarming picture of themselves, as they cutely announced their pregnancy.
