Rinku Singh's November Wedding With Fiancee, Priya Saroj, Youngest MP, CANCELLED Due To This Reason

Rinku Singh, the famous Indian cricketer, left everyone captivated by his engagement pictures. The cricketer got married to Samajwadi Party's youngest Member of Parliament, Priya Saroj. The duo was all set to get married on November 18, 2025, but it was called off, and the wedding has been postponed. However, the new date has not yet been announced.

According to a report in Amar Ujala, a close family source revealed that Rinku and Saroj, who were all set to get married on November 18, 2025, at the Taj Hotel in Varanasi, have postponed the ceremony. The couple will now get married in February 2026. However, the final date has not yet been announced. The report further mentioned that the wedding has been postponed due to Rinku's cricket commitments in November 2025.

It is worth mentioning that Rinku will be part of India's Australia tour for three ODIs and five T20Is between October 19, 2025, to November 8, 2025. Later, an all-format series with South Africa will be held between November 14-19 and November 22-26, followed by three ODIs beginning November 30, 2025. The 27-year-old has played two ODIs and 33 Twenty20 Internationals. He has marked his place as an important member of the team.

Rinku Singh and Priya Saroj's engagement at Lucknow's The Centrum Hotel with 300 VIP guests

In June 2025, Rinku Singh and Priya Saroj's engagement ceremony was held at The Centrum Hotel in Lucknow. According to reports, 300 VIPs were invited to the ceremony, including Jaya Bachchan, Ikra Hasan, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav, Dimple Yadav, Ramgopal Yadav and cricketers like Praveen Kumar, Piyush Chawla, and Aryan Juya.

For the day, Rinku Singh wore a white-hued sherwani. On the other hand, the bride-to-be, Priya, looked gorgeous in a soft-pink-toned lehenga with heavy embroidery. She teamed her lehenga with a matching dupatta and choli. An emerald neckpiece and matching earrings, along with soft makeup and a straight hairstyle. The couple was seen entering the venue hand-in-hand. In one of the videos that surfaced, Rinku and Priya were seen exchanging rings.

For the unversed, Priya Saroj is a Samajwadi Party MP from Machhali Shahar in Uttar Pradesh. She is the daughter of three-time elected MP and MLA, Tufani Saroj. Before entering politics, she was a lawyer. It was in 2024 that Priya won the Lok Sabha election and defeated BJP candidate BP Saroj by a huge margin. Priya Saroj is the second-youngest candidate to be elected to the lower house of Parliament. Talking about her educational background, she holds a BA degree from the University of Delhi and an LLB from Amity University, Noida.

The KKR's star player, Rinku, hails from Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. He belongs to a working-class family. He has five siblings, and he is the third child of his parents. Talking about his father, Khanchandra used to work as an LPG cylinder delivery man while his mother, Bina Dev,i is a housewife. Rinku lived in a 2-room quarter in the stockyard provided by the cylinder company.
