'Rise & Fall', Arjun Bijlani Trolled After Winning Show Due To Ashneer Grover's Wife-Shared Post

The first season of the Indian reality show, Rise & Fall, finally found its winner! Television star, Arjun Bijlani ended at the top spot of the Ashneer Grover-hosted show. The season's finale aired on October 17, 2025, on MX Player and Amazon Prime Video, where the winner was announced. Arjun's dedicated fanbase was over the moon as their favourite lifted the trophy and also took home a cash prize of Rs. 28.10 lakh. However, where there is praise, there is criticism as well. Arjun faced a wave of online trolling after Ashneer Grover's wife's previous post for the Rise & Fall winner resurfaced.

Why is Arjun Bijlani being trolled for his Rise & Fall win?

Arjun Bijlani is being trolled by a group of netizens, particularly the fans of rival contestant and first runner-up, Aarush Bhola. Arjun is accused of being favoured by the Rise & Fall host's wife, Madhuri Jain Grover, because of her posts about him, as reported by Woman's era Magazine. Following Arjun's win, a viral clip began circulating screenshots of Madhuri's Instagram story, which appeared to promote Arjun, sparking allegations of unfair promotion. Many felt that this move by Ashneer Grover's wife acted in Arjun's favour, and boosted his popularity, ultimately making him win the title.

Fans of Youtuber, Aarush Bhola claimed he was more deserving of the Rise & Fall win than Arjun Bijlani. Some even alleged that the showmakers had already decided the winner, so Madhuri promoted Arjun on Instagram to encourage the audience to vote for him. Despite the controversy, Arjun was announced as the winner and took home lakhs of money. Notably, there is no bad blood between Aarush and Arjun; it's only their fans who have been poking at each other on social media throughout the entire season.

Arjun Bijlani described his journey to the Rise & Fall trophy

After winning the reality show, Rise & Fall, Arjun Bijlani expressed that his victory proved that every setback is a step toward rising stronger. He described his journey on the show as challenging but ultimately surreal and rewarding. He attributed his success to staying true to himself throughout the competition. He opened up about the emotional toll of being on a captive reality show, recalling one instance where he cried alone because he missed his family. Regarding his nature of gameplay, Arjun said:

"I played the game with a lot of heart. I only used strategy during the challenges, but otherwise, I stayed true to myself... I believe that was my biggest strength, being consistent and honest."

Arjun found strength by keeping a photo of his wife, Neha Swami, and son, Ayan, with him. Meeting his son in the red room was the 'biggest moment' and a memory he will cherish forever. He also expressed gratitude for allies, specifically thanking co-contestants Aarush Bhola and Arbaaz Patel, stating that his win would not have been possible without their support.

Arjun acknowledged every participant's contribution, saying that they all played a role in making his journey 'beautiful', irrespective of whether they were friends or rivals. "Each one of them is responsible for me being a winner here today," he said. After the intense competition, a tired Arjun said his primary desire was to go home and relax. He wants to be around his wife and embrace his son. Regarding his plans after the show, Arjun stated:

"You know, what I really want to do is go home and just lie down on my bed. I think that's what I really want to do. I want to hug my son too."
