Rishi Kapoor, in a recent interview with the Deccan Chronicle, has shared how his family and especially, his wife, Neetu Kapoor has been so caring and supportive of him in the past few months. Rishi Kapoor said, “Neetu has stood by me like a rock. Otherwise, I am too difficult a person to handle as far as food and drinks are concerned. My kids Ranbir and Ridhima have really shouldered my problems.”
Rishi Kapoor also commented that he is cancer-free now but it will take a couple of months more for him to return to India as he needs to get a bone marrow transplant. Rishi ji retorted, “My eighth month of treatment started on May 1 in the US. But God has been kind! I am in remission, meaning now I am cancer-free. I will have to do a bone marrow transplant, which in all probability should take another two months minimum. Being in remission is a big thing and it’s all because of my family and my fans prayers and duas that have worked. I thank them all.”
Rishi Kapoor, who is infamous for temper issues, was asked how did he manage to be so patient over these months. To this, the 66-year-old actor replied, “A person like me who has never had patience, this is God’s way to teach me patience. Getting well is a slow procedure. But it makes you grateful for the gift of life.” (Don't Miss: Ayushmann Khurrana's Kids Are Not Allowed To Watch His Films And The Reason Will Shock You)
