It was on February 3, 2020, when Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh had completed 8 years of marital bliss. Being pronounced husband and wife in a traditional Maharashtrian wedding, Riteish and Genelia’s marriage was not only a coming together of two individuals but it was, rather a union of two traditions and cultures. To mark their eighth anniversary, Genelia had posted a video that comprises of their beautiful moments together and had written, “Dearest Forever, Grow old along with me, I promise the best is yet to come. Happy Anniversary @riteishd Just to let you know I Love being my Husband’s wife #since2002.” Riteish had shared an Insta story, revealing what the lovebirds were up to on their anniversary. And to wish his baiko, Riteish had posted a hilarious video on his Instagram and had captioned it as "Happy Anniversary Baiko @geneliad."
On February 7, 2020, Sharad Kelkar and Keerti Gaekwad Kelkar’s daughter, Kesha Kelkar turned six and to celebrate the special day, the star parents hosted a star-studded bash in Mumbai. From Surveen Chawla with her daughter, Eva, Jay Bhanushali and Mahhi Vij with their children, Khushi and Rajveer to Maniesh Paul and Sanyukta Paul with their tots, Yuvann Paul and Saisha Paul, graced the party and came together to celebrate Kesha’s sixth birthday. But it was the superstar couple, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh, who stole the limelight.

Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia Deshmukh attended the bash with their sons, Riaan Deshmukh and Rahyl Deshmukh and not only the kids, but their parents too had lots of fun at the party. In a throwback 2014 interview with Tribune, Riteish Deshmukh had spoken beautifully about his wife, Genelia Deshmukh. He had stated, “She acted with me in my first film. We first became best friends and then midway through the film, we started seeing each other. We were seeing each other for 10 years before we decided to get married in 2012. Genelia and I are one entity. Falling in love with your friend and that becoming your life is the best thing that can happen to a person. I love her energy and her smile."
The Baaghi 3 star had continued, “She will always put me ahead of herself, which is endearing. We are similar in terms of thinking. We like simple things and are not materialistic. For example, we both would like to go and eat bhelpuri. She initially ignored me and hated me, as I was the CM’s son, thinking that I would be arrogant. My father always taught me that the only thing constant in life is you being who you are; everything around you is temporary, be it power, hits or flops.
