Riteish Deshmukh PUSHES Young Fan At 'Sitaare Zameen Par' Premiere, Netizens Call Action 'Rude'

Recently, Bollywood superstar, Aamir Khan hosted a grand premiere of his film, Sitaare Zameen Par, on June 19, 2025, ahead of its release. For the uninitiated, the much-awaited sequel, Sitaare Zameen Par, has hit the big screen on June 20, 2025. Many celebrities marked their presence at the starry premiere night. Earlier, we came across a video from the event of Junaid Khan, son of Aamir Khan, getting manhandled by Salman Khan’s bodyguards, and now, we have stumbled upon another video of Riteish Deshmukh pushing away a young fan at the same event. Soon after the video went viral, netizens expressed their anger.

Riteish Deshmukh recently marked his presence at the premiere of Sitaare Zameen Par, hand-in-hand with his wife, Genelia D’Souza. For the unversed, the film features Genelia, Aamir Khan, and ten debutants. It is a spiritual sequel to the super duper hit 2007 film, Taare Zameen Par. However, a video surfaced online, where the Housefull 5 actor is seen pushing away a young fan as he comes near him to take a selfie. The action happens when Riteish makes his way through the crowd and walks forward with his wife, Genelia. In the video, Riteish and Genelia were seen twinning as they wore matching beige and off white outfits. Genelia wore a chikankari saree, while Riteish looked handsome in an Indo-Western outfit.

Netizens find Riteish Deshmukh’s action towards the young fan 'rude'

Soon after the video featuring Riteish pushing a young fan of his at the premiere of Sitaare Zameen Par, netizens flooded the comment section sharing their views. Many netizens found the actor’s gesture rude and thus criticised him a lot of his actions. Some netizens followed the actor but had unfollowed him for this rude action. Criticising the actor, one user wrote:

"That was incredibly rude. Are these your true colours? Your facial expressions and attitude say a lot — and not in a good way. I expected a grown man to show more self-control and maturity. It wouldn’t hurt to stay grounded and respectful." 

Another user wrote, "First time mujhe Ritesh ka attitude pasand nhi aaya." Sharing disappointment about the actor’s gesture, one fan wrote, Not expected from Ritesh. Very wrong attitude. Sorry, unfollowing you now." Supporting the young fan, a teenage boy who came with his phone to just click a selfie with the actor, a user commented, "Imagine his parents had sent him to take a photo with you. The kid came politely to take a selfie — what was wrong with that? Stay humble, bhai, you won’t lose anything."

What happened with Aamir Khan’s elder son, Junaid Khan, at the premiere of Sitaare Zameen Par?

In a video posted by an entertainment platform, Junaid Khan was seen being manhandled by Salman Khan’s bodyguards. It is worth mentioning that the Bollywood star’s security has been tightened following the multiple death threats he had received. In the particular video, it seemed like Salman’s security team failed to recognise the star kid as he tried to meet the Bollywood actor. The incident happened in front of 'Bhaijaan', but it seems like it went unnoticed by him as he made his way through the crowd.
