Popular social media sensation, Riva Arora often hits the headlines for her age controversy, as everyone is curious to find out her real age. In 2022, Riva received a lot of flak after she appeared in music videos with middle-aged men like Mika Singh and Karan Kundrra, even after being quite young. Her videos went viral in no time, leaving the netizens irked. People even slammed Riva’s mother and accused her of exploiting her immature child for the sake of money. And this time was no different.
Recently, we stumbled upon a video on Reddit which showed Riva Arora arriving at an event with Jannat Zubair's brother, Ayaan. She looked stunning in a silver-hued shimmery crop top with chain detailing in the front, which she teamed with a matching skirt. Her short skirt had a bow and two long ribbons hanging from it. Open tresses, pink lips, glam makeup, and a pair of heels completed her look.

On the other hand, Ayaan looked dapper in a white-hued blazer with black sequin embellishment on one side. He teamed it with black pants and matching shoes. However, what caught our attention was that Riva was seen twerking while posing for the paps. While the paps started hooting, Ayaan was visibly uncomfortable in the video. Riva's gesture was inappropriate, and it didn't go down well with the netizens.
As soon as the video surfaced on social media, many netizens reacted to it. While some slammed Riva for not acting according to her age, others mentioned that her mother was exploiting her. Meanwhile, a section of netizens also pointed out that Ayaan was visibly uncomfortable. A user commented, "That bum twerk she did in the beginning and the paps hooting..Her mother should be put behind bars." Another penned, "She is 13? Her exploitative parents should be arrested."

Back in 2023, in an interview with The Indian Express, Riva Arora opened up about the negativity that she receives on social media and revealed how she has been dealing with the trenchant criticism of late. For the unversed, netizens were upset with a music video where Riva was seen romancing Karan Kundrra while it was claimed that she was only 12 years old. Talking about her real age, she said that she's not 12 and her age would be revealed soon. In her words:
“Well, I never focus on such criticism, I always believe that if there’s negativity, there’s also a positive side. I choose to look at the brighter side. The love that I get today has overpowered everything. My actual age will be revealed soon. But all I can say is that I am not 12.”

Child actress, Riva Arora made her acting debut in the critically-acclaimed movie, Rockstar (2011), when she was just one and a half years old. Later, she went on to work in numerous television commercials and won hearts with her cuteness. Riva then bagged a role in films like Uri: The Surgical Strike and Mom, and impressed the audience with her performance in the hit films.
