Amid this, Purav took to his IG handle and dropped a tribute post for Simran, wherein he called her his best friend. He had also tagged Simran as 'behen' multiple times, and it ended up angering Simran Singh's fans, who slammed Purav in his recent post. Taking to his IG handle, Purav dropped a photo with Simran.
Purav also posted two cutesy clips that captured the duo's adorable bond with one another. In the caption, he shared how hard it is to cope with Simran's demise, as every time he is closing his eyes, her smiling face is appearing in front of his eyes. He added that Simran promised to find him a good girl, and revealed the cutesy nicknames that the influencer gave him.
As soon as Purav Jha dropped the tribute post to Simran Singh, the latter's fans rushed to the comment section to slam the former. The netizens wondered why Purav had to call Simran 'behen' multiple times, while others claimed the post to be a 'PR move'. Some other users backed Purav and shared that he had only a sisterly bond with the late influencer, while others asked him why he unfollowed Simran and removed all of their posts together. Some internet users even claimed that Purav has been deleting some of the comments from his profile for the last few days.

In a thread about the same suicide case, Simran's fans shared that Purav and Simran used to live together, and something was off between the duo since their Dubai trip, as they both had unfollowed each other from social media handles. On the other hand, other reports claimed that Simran's wedding was fixed with someone named Himanshu, with whom she had a small company. It was also reported that Simran was not replying to Himanshu's calls and messages, and that's when he stopped by her apartment, and then only, he found the influencer hanging from a noose inside her room.
