'Roadies XX' Winner, Kushal Tanwar A.K.A Gullu Opens On His Wedding Rumours, 'The Pictures Are..'

Kushal Tanwar, also called 'Gullu', has been on cloud nine since winning Roadies XX. The contestant proved his mettle in the reality show by fighting hard and  winning Roadies. However, a while back, a snap of Kushal with a mysterious lady floated online, and his fans got the shock of their lives seeing Kushal getting married. They were not even informed through his social media handle about his marriage. Now, Kushal has opened up about his wedding rumours.

A few days back on Reddit, a picture went viral where Kushal was seen dressed in a white sherwani while his rumoured ladylove was in a red lehenga. It looked as if both of them had their varmala ceremony and posed after their wedding ceremony. Now, Kushal, in an interview with the ETimes, shared that the picture was fake and that he was not married. He cleared his image and shared:

"I don’t know where the news of my marriage came up. The pictures on social media are completely fake. I’m not married, and I don’t know where the pictures came from."

It was alleged that Kushal had earlier been hiding the name of his wife as pictures of his rumoured love interest went viral in no time and fans seemed upset. Now, it seems like the picture was all things fake.

Kushal earlier got evicted in the Roadies XX show, and later the makers made him re-enter the show. He then went to Gautam's gang and there he swapped and joined Elvish Yadav's gang. Kushal shared that his journey in Roadies XX was not at all smooth, as it looked to all. Initially, he faced eviction all because of his gang member, Hartaaj. Then he entered the show as a wild card entrant and gave his best shot. Kushal also noted:

"I didn’t know I’d be standing in the finale with Hartaaj. It was about my and Elvish Bhai’s self-respect at that point, and I had to win it for him.”

Elvish had earlier credited all the gang leaders of Roadies XX from whom he had learnt the art of playing in the show. He never had any intention to win, but when Kushal was in his team, Gullu's destiny completely changed. He took home Rs. 10 lakh prize money along with a Hero Kaizma bike, and removed the tag of being one of the underdog contestants of the show. Kushal's journey in the show showed that he had the motivation to win Roadies XX.

He first made his impression during the audition time and impressed the list of judges, which included  Elvish Yadav, Neha Dhupia, Prince Narula, Rhea Chakraborty, and Gautam Gulati. Kushal was one of the strongest contestants; his journey took a different turn when he got evicted from his gang. It was his comeback as a wild card contestant that changed his entire qismat, and little did he know that he would be the winner. Kushal had shared:

"This win is more than just a title. It’s a silent scream finally heard. There was no one to support me, no guiding hand. I went through it all alone. But I never gave up.”
