Popular South Indian actor and comedian Robo Shankar, who had made millions of fans laugh with his performances, passed away on September 18, 2025. His demise occurred in a hospital in Chennai after he suffered health challenges. The actor, at the age of 46, has left behind his family members and a sea of fans mourning. Now, his last clip and final words uttered in the same have surfaced on social media, which will pierce your heart into a million pieces.

Robo Shankar's last words were towards the paps, where he expressed his love

Days before Robo Shankar passed away, he had come to attend the press meeting of his next offering, Godzilla. He looked weak, but he was brimming with positivity and enthusiasm. Robo spoke gently about his character and shared how he had sacrificed his moustache for his role. He requested support for his movie and told the paps:

"I am doing a different character. You will come to know if you notice the still. I have removed my moustache for this character. The movie should become successful. This is Tharshan's film. The movie has commenced today with the pooja. Thank you, I love you all."

Robo expressed words of love, gratitude and support from the media, and what he said has become like the final farewell words of the star. The clip that went viral moved his sea of fans to tears and they are unable to digest that fate played such a different game with the life of Robo. Fans in the comments section, apart from writing, 'Rest in peace,' have also commented on how watching the video now felt like Robo giving a goodbye speech, which was least expected.

When Robo Shankar recently appeared cheerful at Ilaiyaraaja's 50th anniversary celebrations

For the unversed, Robo recently recovered from Jaundice, and then on September 17, 2025, he was taken to a private hospital in Chennai. Despite getting the best treatment, Robo failed to recover. Now, another video of Robo has surfaced online from Ilaiyaraaja's 50th anniversary celebrations event in Chennai. Robo looked happy, and it seemed as if he was hiding his health-related issues from the entire world. Robo's snaps do not often go viral on social media.

However, this video of Robo from Ilaiyaraaja's celebration bash surfaced, where Robo reportedly looked healthy and even positive at the event. He was also seen taking blessings from Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, and Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin. Robo, who reportedly was a big fan of Kamal Haasan, was also seen sharing some light-hearted moments with the veteran star and was also seen greeting him with a lot of love as well as respect.
