On their 22nd wedding anniversary, Priyanka penned a heartfelt note for her husband that now feels even more meaning. Her post reflected the strength of their bond and how much Robo Shankar and his presence meant to her. Just months ago on Valentine's Day, she penned another emotional tribute, saying life without him was unimaginable. Previously, wishing him on their anniversary, she said:

"My only wish is to spend the rest of the year holding your hand like this. Happy 22nd anniversary, my dear sweetheart Sankarammaaaaa."

Priyanka Shankar stayed by Robo Shankar's side in his last days

Robo Shankar had been unwell in recent months after recovering from jaundice earlier this year in 2025. In his last days, the actor-comedian was filming for multiple projects when he collapsed on a film set. He was immediately rushed to the hospital. Some media reports suggest he was diagnosed with renal failure. Soon, he was shifted to the ICU, where his condition deteriorated. However, despite efforts to revive him, Robo Shankar passed away, leaving his family, friends, and fans in shock.
