Rohit Shetty Takes Over 'Bigg Boss 19: Weekend Ka Vaar', Schools Tanya, 'Aap Jhooth Bol Rahi Ho...'

The latest episode of Bigg Boss 19 just dropped, and it looks like things are heating up even more than before on the show's set, especially with the arrival of guest host for the week, Rohit Shetty. In the absence of Salman Khan, Shetty was seen calling out the contestants' actions in the house. Additionally, the director also recalled his time working with Farhanna Bhatt. Rohit Shetty recalled his work experience with Farhanna Bhatt and called out Tanya Mittal's lies

We got to witness Rohit Shetty's humorous side when he got into some sweet banter with BB 19 contestant, Farhanna Bhatt. Bhatt was part of Shetty's film, Singham Again, in which she played a journalist who interviews Ajay Devgn's character in a scene in Srinagar. Although she had a very brief role in the film, Shetty clearly remembered her as a calm person on the set. However, this did not appear to be the case for the Bigg Boss show. Shetty jokingly said to her, “Itni badi gundi hai, waha toh bahot tameez se pesh aayi thi." He also added, “Aap ye show ke catalyst ho. Sabka blood pressure upar karne me aapka haath hai.” 

This sweet moment did not last long as Rohit Shetty turned his attention to contestant, Tanya Mittal. He began by introducing himself and his show, Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi, hinting at Mittal's possible joining of the show after the end of Bigg Boss 19. While discussing the “30 percent ration, sab nominated aur mai captain” task, Shetty questioned her about what she would do if she were given the same conditions as fellow contestant, Gaurav Khanna, who chose self-captaincy. To this, Tanya replied that she would definitely not have chosen the role of captain; instead, she would have chosen the ration. Shetty immediately clocked her answer, stating:

“Jhooth bol rahi ho aap. Aapke muh pe bol raha hoon aap jhooth bol rahi ho, Tanya.”

Amaal Mallik's accusations against Gaurav Khanna brought into the spotlight

Rohit Shetty quickly moved on to Gaurav Khanna and asked the question we all have been wondering: whether the game he has been playing for the past 4-5 weeks is his real self, or whether the person we see in the initial stages of Bigg Boss 19 is his true face. To this, Khanna replied that he has always remained in the same group from the show's very beginning. Amaal Mallik, however, was not having any of it as he quickly pointed out:

 “Jab ye captain banein, inki dignity window ke bahar gayi, ye haste haste bahar aayein hai.”

Amaal Mallik did not stop there; he even accused Gaurav Khanna's friends of cheating to make him a captain. As this exchange escalated into a heated argument, Rohit Shetty became visibly pissed. He defended Khanna, saying that even Shehbaaz had agreed he would have chosen self-captaincy. Schooling Mallik, he claimed:

“Jab aapke planning ke hisab se cheesein nahi hui toh aapko laga galat hai. Dil ki feeling aur ek show ko bias kehne me bohot farak hota hai. Show biased hai kya? Aap ye kehte ho ki mai show chod ke chala jaunga, ye karunga. Kholdu door? You’re doing wrong, bro. Aap wrong ho toh wrong ho.”
