Rohman Shawl Reacts To Sushmita Sen's Claims Of Being Single For Almost 2 Years, 'Wo To 6 Saal Se..'

Sushmita Sen is one of the most popular Bollywood actresses. Well-known for her unfiltered opinion, Sushmita never misses a chance to set the record straight once and for all. She was in a relationship with Rohman Shawl, and after parting ways with him, she started dating Lalit Modi. Though Sushmita and Lalit's relationship was short-lived, it became the talk of the town. Now, Rohman has opened up about his relationship with Sushmita Sen and stated that they are good friends and share a special bond.

In a candid conversation with Instant Bollywood, Rohman Shawl was asked about his recent public appearances with Sushmita Sen. He was questioned about the kind of equation he shares with Sushmita these days as they are often spotted together. Responding to the same, he said:

“Voh toh 6 saal se saath mein hai. Isme naya kya hai?"

However, when Rohman Shawl was further probed on his relationship with Sushmita Sen, considering that they often make public appearances together, he gave a beautiful response. Rohman mentioned that he and Sushmita have always been friends and will always continue to be. He added that they share something special and said:

“We have always been friends and that will always continue. We share something special and wo dikhta bhi hai."

Interestingly, Rohman Shawl's statement came days after Sushmita Sen appeared on Rhea Chakraborty’s podcast and revealed that she is single. The former Miss Universe added that she has taken a break from dating and has been enjoying the beautiful phase of her life. Sushmita mentioned that she has been single for almost two years and said:

“I have no man in my life. I’ve been single for a while. It has been almost two years since I have been single, to be precise since 2021… I am not in a relationship. I have some incredibly wonderful people in my life who are my friends. I am not even interested in anyone at the moment. It is lovely to take a break because I was in a relationship for almost five years. And that was a long time.”

In an interview with Zoom TV, the actress once opened up about dating someone 15 years younger than her, with whom she shared a deep love. She called their relationship beautiful and shared that they, along with her kids, make a team.
