The iconic actress, Madhoo Shah is all over the news, just like in the good old days, after she talked about a lot of Bollywood stars in her recent interview. For the unversed, she is one of the few actresses in India, who continues to work in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada films even despite being 54 years old. Some of her most memorable performances were in the films, Roja (1992), Phool Aur Kaante (1991), Yodha (1992), Allari Priyudu (1992), Gentlemen (1993), and many more.
For the unversed, Madhoo Shah is the niece of iconic actress, Hema Malini, and, therefore, she is also the cousin of her daughter, Esha Deol Takhtani. The actress is happily married to Anand Shah, and it was on February 19, 1999, when they got married. Madhoo and Anand are blessed with two daughters, Keia and Ameyaa. Another interesting fact about Madhoo’s family connections is that her husband is the cousin of the famous Indian businessman, Jay Mehta, who is married to ever-so-gorgeous diva, Juhi Chawla.

In a recent interview with ETimes, Madhoo Shah was asked to share her thoughts on Bollywood’s King Khan, Shah Rukh Khan. In response, she admitted that she always had a crush on Shah Rukh. Not only this, but Madhoo also added that even today, whenever someone asks her to name her celebrity crush, she takes SRK’s name. When the actress was asked to throw some light on why she is so much in love with Shah Rukh, Madhoo explained how he is like God. The actress stated that even when his films didn’t perform well at the box office, his screen presence was enough to appeal to his fans. She said:
"When one talks about a crush, the first name that comes to my mind is Shah Rukh Khan. His charisma and the way he does things on screen, what he represents, appeals to me. I am his biggest fan. Even when his films flop, he doesn’t do well at the box office or he does horrible work, he is just like a God."

Further, in the same interview, Madhoo Shah also shared another interesting revelation about her acting career. Despite working in five different film industries, the gorgeous actress revealed that she never did more than one film at a time. Sharing an anecdote about the same, Madhoo revealed that she was offered Shilpa Shetty’s role in the film, Baazigar, but she rejected it. Revealing the reason behind her decision, Madhoo added that she was extremely strict about her policy of doing one film at a time, and hence, she had to reject Baazigar. She said:
"In fact, because I was focused on five film industries. I never did more than one film at a time. I was busy doing films in all the states and I had no regrets. I had to reject ‘Baazigar’. I was offered Shilpa Shetty’s role, but as I said, I have no regrets at all. I didn’t do ‘Baazigar’ because I was doing some other movie. I don’t want to erase any experiences in life."
Talking about Madhoo Shah’s upcoming films, if the reports are to be believed, one of the movies for which she is currently filming is Shaakuntalam. In the film, Madhoo is reportedly portraying the character of 'Menaka'. Apart from this film, she will be next seen in the films, Ennitu Avasanam and Vilpana - Netflix Anthology. She was last seen in the Kannada film, Raymo.
